What do you like best about the product?
Since the pandemic Miro has helped me collaborate with my co designer and brainstorm ideas very efficiently. Miro is highly reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to have more cleaner UI and a better freehand whiteboarding mode within the canvas

Lot of real world problems for customer success.

Everyone on the same page

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool for academic and professional scenarios, keeping everyone on the same page while providing a single place for self expression of visual ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like the overall app. Every feature has its areas for improvement, but the zoom feature urgently needs a "zoom to…" a selected object option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having students work collaboratively in a single space, not only for brainstorming sessions, but also for team work in gral.
It's also a great place to showcase everyone's work and to allow visual critique.

Professionally it's a great space for online design sessions, specifically requirements gathering, and validating visual ideas with stakeholders.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I like the sticker notes, but try not to click around too much cause you might accidentally change something your teammates created..

I don't plan serious projects without it

  • December 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's super versatile and easy to share with my colleagues and immediately collaborate on something. I also use it all the time to plan my data pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there are enough shapes to get the job done, I wish there were more related to data engineering/databases etc. Sometimes I feel like I'm missing a shape or something to better create a process related to data management or development. Outside of this, there isn't much to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever my team needs to quickly collaborate on ideas, this is always the first thing we go too. Sometimes we also have retrospectives, and they would be impossible without Miro due to COVID (do usually meet in the office anymore). Lastly, I use this as an individual when I need to plan my data pipelines and or collaborate with my product manager on our squad goals etc.

Great for remote group work and teaching

  • December 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I discovered Miro after the Covid19 pandemic started and I loved the intuitive design and the support it provides for joint remote work. I used it within my teaching and in meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it should be more affordable than the current pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating and doing exercises which we would normally do in a room (e.g. brainstorming, collecting different opinions) in the remote teaching and work mode.

A perfect remote collaboration tool for a globally distributed team for 150+ members

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of access, guest editor access and miro provided 'How to use Miro' guides makes it usage hassle free for all types of users. Its integration with ALM tools, slack and visual notes makes it a one- shop stop for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro grids and charts need to be made more intelligent. Example - Would love to have the pie-chart getting updated with the output from a Jira query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are doing a Big room planning (called as Program Increment Planning meeting in the Scaled Agile context) with team members spread across Canada, Europe UK, SA, India, Australia and Japan. Miro provides us the platform to setup our planning board and team boards for the team members to brainstorm and collaborate on the user stories. Its integration with Jira gets us the the right information flowing in as inputs to the teams. We use it extensively for our trainings and problem solving workshops. The 'bring everyone to me' , timer and voting features are a great help while facilitating such workshops around a big miro board.

Lovely visual project management/collaboration tool

  • December 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The visual appeal. The colors. The super flexibility that Miro gives. Easy access. Easy to share with others. The template library. The fact that Miro frequently rolls out updates and new features. Miro has free plan. Miro works with other well-known project management tool. I love using Miro for note taking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess I tend to use a lot of sticky notes on my Miro board and it's kind of a pain to jump between them: I have to move from the keyboard to the mouse to do it. I wish I can work with sticky notes (add new sticky notes, switch to the note next to the current ones, organise the ntoes) using keyboard only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am navigating my sea of tasks with Miro. Miro helps me organise them better, prioritise them, and inspire me. I'm a visual person so Miro's visual appeal helps a lot.
Also, Miro's Library template is very handy for me and my team to implement new workspace and processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try for its flexibility and visual appeal.

Very Intuitive User Interface

  • December 02, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
It provides the best place for us to convey our idea and message to all the project team members. The online collaboration features were excellent as everyone can work concurrently
What do you dislike about the product?
The applications sometimes lagging when there are too many frames or diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides us a clear communication platform and also allows us to present our idea easily with diagrams and illustrations to our clients and project stakeholders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend for those who wanted to build their mindmaps or diagram when time is the major constraint.

    Logistics and Supply Chain

It's been a game changer in how to document and communicate in product development

What do you like best about the product?
The infinite size of the board and that you can invite people without the need for them to create / own accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be pretty heavy on the computers when you have many boards open.
The organisation of all your boards is a bit basic, would like it to be more folder structure like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit for me is that i can really quickly get my ideas and structure my thinking, without being limited bu the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
