Useful tool to promote collaboration, easy to use.

  • September 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows all the members of the work team partnership to create new concepts via notes which can be viewed via a versatile and efficient screen, which are very useful for working remotely, efficiently, and literally. It centralizes every file I create so that I see what I've done on a look. I will do this easily and accurately, without spending time opening different folders, if I have to present an impromptu declaration of the status of my work. I can still review my projects and work on them whenever needed, whether it is in the browser, Mac app or mobile.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the notes are revised or changed, they are not preserved to continue successfully, i.e., whether or not the operation has been done. Improving this little description will be very helpful. This platform also satisfies all my specifications satisfactorily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From my point of view, this is an invaluable tool because it enables you to access and manage tasks anywhere remotely and make communication among team members more effective. Better cooperation, company. I can show my work easily and my work is more structured. I can try more and be more transparent by using flexibility. See more advantages also above.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend the implementation of this tool because it really improves the organization of my projects and improves communication between all team members.

MIRO is the ONE tool where we can do almost any teamwork

  • September 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We love to use MIRO to teamwork, remote or inside the same room. We love that we can use it as a virtuel workspace we always can visit and that it can be used to; research workflows, Agile workflows, as a Backlog, Scrumboard, Personas, to prototyping. And it works great together with our tools like Adobe or JIRA ect.
MIRO makes everything visuel and easy to work with and to combine with whatever media we need as a team. We use MIRO in many ways, but our goal have been to remove the wall posting into the realtimeboard where we always can visit or revisit our work og reuse the work the way we need. AND we can see a history / log over the work we have done. MIRO as a log over the work we have done is very powerful.
MIRO is very accessible to almost everybody - and when you first have learn how to navigate MIRO your creativity is your only limit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to understand how to navigate the MIRO UI. AND you should remember to lock your canvas items when the team works inside them. But when you learn how to navigate the UI and remember to lock your templates or frame it works perfectly.
I last think we dont like is it use of computer power. If you are many users at the same time on a MIRO board it drains you battery very fast - so you need to connect your computer to a power outlet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamwork, virtuel remote teamwork, Scrumboard, error log, personas, agile workflows, research work.
We try to use MIRO to transform tacit knowledge inside team members to explicit knowledge on boards so it is accessible for everybody and can easy be revisit anytime. We end up with a work wiki over all our insides, problems, hypotheses ect. Its a collective brain :-)

Miro is the best tool for remote collaboration ever invented!

  • September 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Realtime collaboration. Infinite canvas. Useful tools and integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of....Miro is awesome. I've been waiting for better guest collaborator tools and now you have them in beta. Amazing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asynchronous brainstorming. Living canvas for project ideas/designs. Keeping remote teams engaged.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lots of great tutorials and training all available for free. I definitely recommend reviewing to learn great tips/tricks not just for the tool itself, but also how to leverage remote collaboration tools.

Awesome collaboration tool for remote teams!

  • September 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a really good replacement for the whiteboard, you can pretty much put anything on it and organize really well. It's great for running standups, brainstorms, feedback sessions, planning exercises and anything in-between!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get quite slow if you have a lot of stuff on the board or if you have a lot of collaborators working on it at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've replaced all our Whiteboard group activities with Miro during WFH times, it's quite useful, especially if you want to follow up and share the results with people (which you can't do well on the whiteboard).
We also started using Miro for a lot of organizational purposes, recently adapting it for running a 35ppl team standup & retrospective.
Beyond that, we've also switched a lot of meetings that would be just a conversation/review with some notes taken in OneNote/Email to Miro, so they became more visual with references, images, links, mind maps, etc.

Figma for Architects

  • September 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to communicate, live whiteboard in these remote corona times up and down the work pole to the incredible amount of detail needed across functions - Software and Machine Learning Engineers, PMs, Data Scientists. No more mind maps, concept graphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish one could inline embed specific areas(specify grid focus basically) of a huge MIRO
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing architecture, design, data flow, threat model, conversion funnels, data pipelines
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just use it, you'll never look back!

A Must for Remote Work

  • September 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for my team to work together as if we are at the same white board in a physical setting. Because of Miro we have been able to continue our Lean initiatives while team members work remote. Miro support is great and very responsive with any questions; lots of great training material to get up to speed quickly
What do you dislike about the product?
so much functionality; can be overwhelming to a new user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of Covid my team was sent home to work; without Miro we would not have been able to continue our Lean initiatives

Miro for Live Collaboration!

  • September 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is super easy to use. When they say "live collaboration," they mean it. You can see the mouse cursors of your colleagues moving around the board at the same time. Very neat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Miro isn't great at presentations. That's really the only thing that falls short. That said, they have voting, activity timers, screen share, and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving ways for organizations to do "continuous improvement" projects better and faster in a virtual environment during this pandemic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at Mural as their primary competitor, but Miro is the better solution. In general, Miro is providing us with exactly what we need, when we need it. Lastly, their pricing plans give you many options. For us, we needed something that could integrate with our existing service solutions while simultaneously being available to new clients and restricted between clients. Miro provides that with their "consultant" level plans.

love the templates that you offer

  • September 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
well explained templates and its easy to pick and modify a template.
What do you dislike about the product?
bump up the security levels, lots of clients are worried about stuff that is hosted on public cloud platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
remote collaboration, quick comments, feedback and modifications to designs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for collaboration, remote workshops, ideation, and joint working sessions. However, some clients have expressed security concerns, I guess we'll need to know who/where the 'guests' are logging in from - especially when we share a link that allows anyone to comment view or edit the boards.
