Its a revolutionary tool!

  • August 04, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is on Miro to just build a user flow in literally less than a minute. It's really easy to bring structure to a really complex problem by visualizing the parts of the problem and guides you where to start first. For example, as a marketer, I could map out the entire marketing funnel of all campaigns around a specific initiative to immediately understand gaps and opportunities to optimize. Certain features like creating sticky notes, shapes, aligning the positions of various shapes, selecting a group of elements is incredibly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature can be better in miro. There's a longer learning curve compared to other tools. The editing tools are not very intuitive at times. It would have been great if one could copy-paste the user flows, grids directly into other docs (vs taking screenshots)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing projects, drawing marketing funnels, user flows, brainstorm ideas

Excellent online whiteboard tool..!

  • August 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This provides an opportunity to make suggestions and brainstorms together among various individuals around the organisation. I appreciated the simplicity with which ideas were expressed and input provided without delay in real time. We could integrate as many people as we wanted and set up multi-project boards. This dashboard in real time lets us stay connected and I like that in graphic form. I like that, too, that you can tag people with certain action items on your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I started to use it, it was a little frustrating. I wanted to make it a little easier, more intuitive and a little less design-centered, but also just in regular marketing centered on people. When you first start registering, it can be a little crazy, but you're finally getting used to it. I 'm glad you can still use the free plan with Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A whiteboard tool that could be used in many departments was required. It worked well and many people said how much it helped them to work together. Stay linked and innovate as we build on the basis of the COVID-19 crisis in our meetings. We don't normally work from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Nice product, would recommend certainly. Especially if you have many remote teams and work a lot remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro helps with overcoming today's difficult times and the way we work remotely.

It's a great application that help a lot with projects and meetings where we could all work off the same white board page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular yet.. so far everything i needed was provided and application is Free to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great application that help a lot with projects and meetings where we could all work off the same white board page.

It's difficult right now to have a proper face to face meeting while using a whiteboard and Miro overcomes that issue very well.

Effective Tool for Visualizing in Business

  • July 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has an intuitive UX design and the experience is equally the same.
The learning curve is minimal, some self-education is required to understand the templates available, to allow a full understanding of how to use them, but well worth the time.

Miro also allows exports of all work created, so if you have a printer with the proper paper dimensions, you can print and display in your office easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many dislikes towards Miro, rather areas of improvement/suggestion:

Adding a vector library that was more native and well designed in Miro would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy tool to map our processes without the complex interface.

Miro was designed well and was not overwhelming to create your first Map.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool to map out your business existing scene in a static view. I recommend Miro for individuals who are Sr. Management and Executive to better understand the business internal functions.

Love Miro and hope that it continues to expand

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can review and move things around live with team members and it makes working remotely so easy and pleasant.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it's not connected to Adobe creative suite! That would be soooo incredible if it was. I also don't like how when you export boards the only option is a PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can work remotely with my team mates and it's also very visual. I wish you guys would collaborate with Adobe so I can work in InDesign with my teammates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be able to export high quality PNG images from the boards.

Great collaboration tools for creative team!

  • July 23, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a giant whiteboard that can keep getting bigger. It's very easy to move creative around and allows everyone to comment. This has been a great tool with a 100% remote creative team.

We have a different board for each project or campaign and it helps to see all the creative for one campaign at once.

We've also used it for creative brainstorming, the sticky notes allow for each user to provide feedback anonymously.

When on a call, everyone can follow each other's mouse. Someone can take over the screen so we are all looking at the same thing. This is a very neat feature that we starting using for creative critiques.

Lastly, we've enjoyed being able to share the boards publicly with other teams that might not need to use the tool, but like to see what our team is working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't figured out the best way to organize versions of projects as they move along. The board can look disorganized. There isn't any integration with our project management too, monday.com.

Comments don't stick to the item they are associated with, if you move an image that had a comment, the comment stays where the image was. This is very confusing and makes for more work in the long run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration and open feedback from team members that review work. It's easy to share work-in-progress. Our team has improved the amount of work they share before it goes off to stakeholders.

Multiple team communication. With the public link feature, it's helpful to share it with other teams so they can be in the loop about our projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it, it's a great tool for sharing work. I haven't seen anything like it. Monday.com had a similar feature but it's on the lite side. We are keeping Miro in the mix. With the team account, you can pay for exactly the number of people that are using the tool. If you have people that will just ve viewing things, they don't need an account. You can just share the public link to the board.

Miro makes working from home easy

  • July 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's just easy to use and well designed. Any chance I can, I encourage people to use it as an easy way to add notes, collaborate , or just build a growing database with it. I'm still using the 3 free boards and haven't really found a need to upgrade yet. Perhaps with more options that allow me to be more creative (more sketching abilities explained below), I would consider it. All in all, I think it's perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there's nothing I dislike, it would be wonderful if the sketch tool included pen pressure and different kinds of brushes. Maybe it's difficult to program such a feature online but I think it would be a game changer for designers + creatives who could sketch / draw directly in the app without having to use another software like Procreate / Photoshop / or Illustrator. I don't think it would need to be a heavily developed feature, just an improvement on what is there now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a small design team and we use Slack for communications across the different projects. Sometimes they can get overwhelming so Miro allows you to see it all at a glance which has been helpful. Also the fact that it has really no learning curve makes it easy to bring in team members.

Convenient but sometimes hard to use

  • July 08, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being an online whiteboard makes this tool convenient for cross-team collaboration, especially in real time. Most of my team has licenses so it is good for quick collaborative mapping and sharing. The guest editing feature was really helpful when I was running a remote card sort. Miro also has lots of templates for different types of mappings and diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coming with some experience with design tools like Sketch and Figma, I found it difficult to manipulate elements in Miro. It isn't a full fledged design tool so it is more difficult to resize text, align boxes, and space things out evenly, just to name a few actions. Since there are templates for mapping, it can be a little less flexible when trying to customize the map or creating unusual relationships.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mainly using Miro to map user workflows and it's been a good, accessible repository for these that the team can access.

Just express your ideas

  • July 06, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most interesting part of Miro it is the flexibility in which you can express in many ways graphically your ideas to your team, but this is complemented with the collaboration with your team. This is the best way to transmit your ideas to your team. You can generate specific discussion about some specific part of your ideas with the tools provided. This tool help me in the planning and help me to save my notes when I studied.
What do you dislike about the product?
May be is good idea to add more tools to embed media content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clarify ideas about research, we identify some opportunity areas.
Organice the implementation of online education in the University.
Save my study ideas about education.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In case you need online work on Team, to collaborate, show your ideas, work on plannig,
