Pleasant experience that helped me to make my workflow more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed the UI/UX, the way how everything is presented. The templates were really nice and helped me a lot. However, I needed to spend a lot of time redesigning them according to my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had trouble understanding what to do next after sign up. It would be nice if they had a more straightforward onboarding process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was searching for a solution to better present and visualize my ideas to the team. Miro helped me to create mind maps, flow charts, and user journeys the way how I would like them to see.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is a great software if you need to create a lot of internal communications such as roadmaps, mind maps, flow charts, etc. It allows you to make them nice looking as well as collaborate on them efficiently with your team.

Flexible, full-featured collaboration tool

  • June 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is the full set of collaboration features, many integrations, and the Unlimited boundaries on a whiteboard.

The ease of using, such as drag n' drop, URL uploads, video embeds, task lists, chat, frames, presentation mode... all add up to a great collaboration tool that meets my needs when putting together a project or campaign.

The pricing options are thoughtfully set as Miro recognizes its users can be solopreneurs to enterprise and so there is pricing that fits for whatever size business you are. This is unique. Many other companies do not recognize the solopreneur or consultant in their pricing plans.

Miro has become an essential tool for me whether I'm collaborating with clients or subcontractors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Project planning using calendars or more standard task tracking is probably the only downside for me; however, I haven't explored the integrations yet that may be available for onboard project tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consulting calls with prospects have been converting for me 90% since using a Miro Board on the first call. Using this board enables me to present content to prospects in a way that's easy for them to understand. They value my offer to have access to the board as a reference tool whether they sign on with me or not and the majority have signed on.

Other benefits have been having unlimited boundaries so that I can create a sandbox for each of my skill areas, hoarding content at will! I have even used my boards for home remodeling projects, keeping URLs and images in one place.

Best software development companion!

  • June 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is the "jack of all trades," whether If I need to prototype something, document software, pitch ideas, brainstorm; Miro is the way. I like its UX/UI, very intuitive and user-friendly! You won't waste any time learning how to use the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes that my internets won't work fine, and when that happens, miro won't allow me to work offline. Either way, that's just a minor issue to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has really helped me a lot with software documentation; I needed to have a tool to document the software architecture in a more "fun" and easy way than traditional (E.g., README, Confluence, Wikis). I can draw all the architecture diagrams and have them structured with the align tools. And if I need to explain a concept further, I can embed everything I need to have the idea/concept well grasped.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a startup and you're a part of an incubator or accelerator, make sure to check if they offer credits for Miro.

Easy and efficient collaborative whiteboarding and brainstorming

  • June 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Smooth UI that works efficiently without freezing even with a heavy amount of whiteboarding.
2. Changelog helps identify the changes.
3. Collaborative sessions while whiteboarding helps in better outcomes.
4. Flexible pricing options.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Home page navigation is slightly confusing.
2. App and website integration needs to smoother.
3. Shared links always open on the website instead of the installed app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. General whiteboarding for miscellaneous and ad hoc tasks
2. Checklist creation for detailed task breakdown
3. Design and discuss System Architecture Designing with other developers and stakeholders
4. High-Level UX design
5. Collaborative brainstorming the solutions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1. Flexible pricing makes it usable for people of almost all the background
2. Collaboration and UX is better than many other static drawing apps
3. Free options also include almost all the features, hence makes it easier to try it out

An essential tool for visual learners and those who need to simplify complex ideas

  • June 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's fast, responsive and buttery-smooth navigation within a vast and heavily customizable virtual space. Miro allows me to be as vague, or as detailed as needed to communicate ideas, concepts and conduct brainstorming sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can be intimidating for new users as it's a novel work environment and users who are less visually-inclined, or more comfortable with traditional work tools (word processors, spread sheets) may lack the spatial awareness to really make the most of the virtual whiteboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully-remote team, working with particularly complex problems. Miro is the best tool I've found to bridge that communication gap that remote teams experience compared to in-person whiteboard meetings. Sometimes words and realtime demonstrations fail to really detail the nuance and complexity of a process, and that's where Miro steps in.

A great tool for any professional

  • June 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a founder of a start up focused on providing professional services, my mind is constantly full of ideas and thoughts about moving forward. I particularly enjoy using the mind map tool to put my thoughts together. I also recommend these tools to my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, but I find it a little too 'design' focused. I would like to see templates that I can use in a business strategy and marketing context. But I can also make those myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned, it helps me put my thoughts together and map it out. I can also organise it into an action plan, particularly in actioning our marketing strategies. Finally, I use it in my workshops and with interns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the Tour and accompanying courses to get the maximum benefit out of the platform.

Intuitive, Versatile but slower loading on larger diagrams

  • June 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro's intuitive nature that made setting it up easy without much training. I appreciate its ease of use, allowing me to effortlessly share diagrams globally and streamline my discussions by converting complex ideas into visuals quickly. The integrated search helps find necessary resources like icons and pictures effortlessly. I also value how Miro stays ahead by recreating components, offering excellent price-to-value.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that it is lacking some speed now and then, especially on larger diagrams. Additionally, i had an issue when components were all linked and start resizing and moving all together, which seems to require optimization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to translate words into visuals, saving time and facilitating clear communication. It allows me to share diagrams globally with ease, enabling immediate discussions on actual issues rather than lengthy explanations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dont think to long about added value vs cost. Try it and find out if it works for you and your teams.

Miro as team collaboration tool

  • June 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When Covid started and we could not travel to work on research, it provided the opportunity for our team to work in live collaboration on research analysis and design
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has improved over the past 2 years, but it used to be clunky and hard to understand. Our company has a limited license or there is a limit of users when we collaborate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can also use it to share product flows and create presentation boards for product assessments to share with the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take some time to understand all Miro offers and practice in advance how to use it. It is a great tool for real-time team collaborations.

Just LOVE Miro

  • June 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Miro for simple process schematics, complex user journey sequence mapping, and even (as a guest) group training. I love that it's so easy to organize information visually. They also have templates, so you don't have to start from a blank slate. My whole team finds it nicer to reference information this way than in the old linear document form.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a little practice to make stunning-looking boards, but it is intuitive and worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team sharing, storing of process information, and mapping user journeys. I'd be despondent if I couldn't use Miro anymore.

Awesome tool! I use Miro to map my funnels and build my landing pages mockups

  • June 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The "infinite" white board and the fact that you can always use a bigger space if you need. I used to work on powerpoint/Google slide before but my problem was always the same: I was limited by the space of the slides
I also like the fact that when you "paste" elements, they appear where your mouse is!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no "line" element!!!! Just arrows, it's so frustrating becauseI could use some lines when designing my landing pages on Miro. Also, I find it really inconvenient not to be able to easily select several elements with the mouse only => having to click on each one + maintain CTRL is a bit time consuming when you have 100 elements to select
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have only 1 work space for all my needs: marketing funnels, facebook ads campaigns plan, landing pages mockups
Recommendations to others considering the product:
TRY IT OUT. Seriously, the free version already allows you to gain so much time!!
