Miro allowed us to collaborate and sync effectively while we work remotely
What do you like best about the product?
It is relatively easy to create templates and organize workshops that empower the engagement of the participants. It often serves as the "history" of how decisions were made and used to develop drafts of roadmaps and timelines.
Miro is also an excellent tool when it comes to retrospectives and feedback sessions. It is extremely helpful that many templates are available to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
While working inside a new board is straightforward, organizing your work has a lot of room for improvement. We use miro as a company and I am able to create a space for my own team using the project section. Nevertheless, after a year I have created more than 50 boards and I would have created at least 50% more if there was a sufficient way to organize boards inside a project. That it would allow me to create cleaner and more targeted boards.
While I enjoy the in-Miro calls feature, it is necessary to have the ability to use blur background since it is the standart in similar tools and working from home has proven challenging for many people.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to brainstorm, plan and sync with my colleagues on different topics using different types of workshops and setups. We are also able to run design sprints entirely remotely. Design sprints are very challenging, but we managed to set them up in Miro, and I could honestly say that the experience of the participant and
their engagement increased.
Working remotely is challenging, and using Miro helped fill many gaps in our communication and improve our flows of creating Product.

Miro is a necessary tool for jobs which require thinking and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Endless possibilities to use all sorts of schemes, roadmaps, mindmaps, and so on. For nearly every task where I need to think of something miro have a specific tool
Furthermore, I like a lot of details like labels, reactions to stickers which helps to be more precise
And of course, it's collaboration tools that help our team move much faster, especially these days with fully remote operations. I like to use frames and share a specific field on a board with my teammates

What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop client could be better, I struggle that I couldn't move bar tabs as in regular browsers
Free account is limited, for example, I would like to use miro for my personal tasks but I have only a few boards. On the other hand, I wouldn't collaborate on these boards as it's my personal ones. So it'd be better if miro allow full free access for personal use, as notion did already

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps to structure the process of thinking, be more consistent and logical - think of a problem, of possible solutions
we also use it to make roadmaps and collaborate around it with the team – miro's tools are agile enough to meet our everchanging needs

Try free version to understand whether it fit your needs, but don't stop on simple tasks miro become more useful as you learn new tips and tricks
Miro makes sense of complex operations.
What do you like best about the product?
I love using sticky notes to plan operations. Using a Miro board takes complex information making a mess in your mind, and allows you to turn it into a clear flow of ideas that form multiple processes. The templates are excellent too, and the icebreakers are fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro takes a little while to get used to as it has specific keyboard shortcuts. But the training videos quickly teach you what you need to know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping me plan and track marketing campaigns. I've been able to identify gaps in a workflow that I couldn't see before and execute ideas more effectively.
Easy way to plan and visually communicate!
What do you like best about the product?
I really love using the Mindmaps. My chaotic thought process looks so nice and structured anyone is able to follow along.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't add people in my Org to a board till they have signed in at least once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did a knowledge transfer/Training for a complex role in about a week. I could make timelines for things that fit timelines, tables to define terms and roles, and flow diagrams for how to manage various workflows. My trainee was able to ask questions on certain areas and I could answer or build out any new visuals needed to answer. Rather than build out a massive training and make clean slides I just send anyone with questions to my board, so much easier! I was trying to push how hard getting a method identified to my project team for months, but a flow diagram from Miro, and suddenly I had realistic timelines and support in the right places.
Great collaboration tool for a changing workplace
What do you like best about the product?
Quickly create shared workspace for our design team. Images and info can quickly be loaded and arranged to share in real time. Used as a main source of tracking all design work through the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drawing and sketching tools could be better. A lot of work is markup of images and drawings and it's not the best for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While most of our design team (architecture) has been able to return to the office, we still need to share information across workplaces and while working at home. During presentations its great to refer to the miro broad and even upload now information to it during a meeting in real time. Also a great cateloging tool to show all the work that has been done over the course of a project.
Miro - Best Visualization Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the interface and the ability to clearly articulate plans/mocks/complex workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't too much to dislike about the platform. I do wish that the integrations and sharing capabilities were a little more advanced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is an excellent tool for providing visual mockups of brain trees, improvised project plans, critical path workflows, and several other forms of visual representation of data. It is an essential tool to me as a Sales Engineer and allows me to perform my job to the highest degree. I am able to clearly articulate my thought process internally to my team and externally to prospects/clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a one-stop-shop platform to assist with all of the features mentioned earlier then I highly recommend Miro!
Excellent collaboration tool supporting virtual teams and hybrid working
What do you like best about the product?
Participation has increased with using the tool as I think people find it easier to submit ideas electronically and it can also be totally anonymous. As a facilitator I love the fact that the post it notes are typed and can be read easily! It's so much more efficient having this electronically to start with and the ability to organise themes without the concern of running out of wallspace! The tool enables you to keep everything you've captured visible at all times to everyone and the ability for everyone to participate at the same time is priceless and works seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm struggling to find any issues with the tool. Most of the issues I have had using the tool have either been because of user errors or connectivity issues from our own internal networks - not Miro issues at all! I've given a 9 and not a 10 because I still think there's a certain amount of pre-work needed to get people to the point that they can collaborate virtually - it doesn't suit all situations so it depends on the scenario.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a virtual team with global team members on business transformation projects - using a tool like Miro enables us to collaborate effectively and share ideas, model them and work on them over a period of time. It's like having the meeeting room all set up and left with everything on the wall, ready to go in next time. Nothing is lost. The tool is so easy to use and we now have confidence using it - the main benefit is that now we are moving to hybrid working, we don't have to worry about scheduling workshops around when people are going to be in the office - we've proven the concept and it works.
Putting the intelligence in innovation processes
What do you like best about the product?
Miro raised our bar and with the help of the templates and examples in the Miroverse we facilitated focus groups and milestone meetings. Miro made remote working worth it. Interconnecting technical experts and businesses in a software development project is one of the challenges every company and organization faces. Miro makes this possible in a way that strengthens the quality of the deliverables and the product as a whole. A true must in the 'New Way' of working.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with various industries and company classes the intuïtiveness of the UI and interactions can be further perfected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a intuïtive app for direct employee participation across sectors and education levels.
Learned to make User Story Maps from scratch without any prior knowledge about agile workflows, same with wireframes, Kaban boards, Service Design methods and Serivce Blueprints. All thanks to Miro.

Easy Collaborative Tool to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that a lot of people can work on a miro board without it being too laggy. It has all the basics to get started and not a high learning curve at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro be more flexible for people who want to create more complicated charts. Sometimes when you have a very large board, load time can take so while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have too many issues, but love how everyone can join in a few seconds without having to go through lots of onboarding or sign up.

Positive results of conducting client workshops with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Virtually infinite whiteboard, light resource usage, versatility. I have used it a lot with my team, where we are able to collaborate simultaneously and have online discussions about the projects. The flexibility in creating boards and the way it is intuitive also helps us in workshops with clients. Templates are a very nice plus too, but we have created our own within our work needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to complain about. The tool has some bugs, like every tool, but it has been so useful in this moment of remote work that it becomes irrelevant. Maybe making it lighter when loading a board with lots of images and information would be a good thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for all types of projects. We share ideas, progress, we manage to give opinions and work in real time and it has been very useful in workshops and squads with the client, who manages to have a more active participation in the process.
