Best collaborative platform out there
What do you like best about the product?
It's best for collaboration, no where else has the ease of use and practical tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be slow, and struggle to load boards with lots of material on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro often takes the place of real world collaboration as we cannot be in person in the current moment, and while nothing can replace the organicness of in person communication, Miro does a great job at replacing physical paper and space. It might even have an edge on the real world because it's perfect for saving collaborative work, sharing work you've done individually before a meeting and organising these outputs...all of which are impossible IRL.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay organised, a Miro Board can get filled quickly and can become messy!
It boosts creativity & productivity among remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
The most beautiful feature of Miro is the ability to collaborate in real-time while we work virtually through using its live chats and audio calls features. Besides, what's more, powerful is that we can do many operations through Miro, such as concept maps, creativity, and program workflow modeling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro would be much better if it had a note-taking capability. Instead of having to open an additional note-taking app every time, I'd want to have a place where I can write down notes on items that don't appear while I'm sharing my screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To summarize, our team has significantly benefitted from the use of Miro, which has resulted in improved cooperation and increased productivity, particularly in the area of business process management.
PERFECT FOR COLLABORATION AND PLANNING
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to collaborate on a large board, reducing the usage of papers and whiteboards.
Using it for Agile planning, we can easily plan a whole semester in it with detail in every sprint
The huge workspace with multiple users interacting at the same time is a must-have in this tool.
Being able to duplicate a board for the next planning iteration eases things immensely
Being able to extract the board to Jira or CSV file is terrific for flexibility
Having the ability to share screen from within the app and chat with others is a very nice addition
Also, have a voting system that eases the story point vote
Basically a life savior especially for work from home planning.
Most of the navigation and zooming are similar to photoshop making it super easy to pick up and start using
Using the app in web browser or downloaded tool have a very similar experience so it is very easy to pick up and start using.

What do you dislike about the product?
Since editing requires a license per user, it is not the best tool to use it as a scrum board; we usually extract the plan to Jira and use it from there.
Other than that, I found nothing to dislike

Just Miro it! Miro helped us change meeting format forever
What do you like best about the product?
Miro provides enough tools (even with a free plan) to facilitate online meetings and keep all relevant information in front of you the whole time. Visualization helps my Team to be engaged and solve complex problems together. It's crucial today as we work remotely nowadays.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to specify how to move elements on a board or avoid ruing all your templates for a meeting for new users. So, Miro might be confusing firstly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro several times helped to conduct kick-off meetings and set expectations within teams. Visualization of ideas, processes, expectations in combination with proper facilitation technic guarantees a great result. Also, it's a vital tool for a Scrum Team to have cool retrospectives and planning sessions.
Very useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Teams, plenty of templates and ways in which to customise the layout. Embedding documents, webpages and media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Embedded documents do not always load quickly so browsing PDFs can be time-consuming. Miro is a useful way to group files etc, but not as an easy to access repository.
Diagrams can quickly become dominated by graphics rather than information; diagrams such as mindmaps/concept maps are not always efficent in use of space. When working in a collaborative environment it is easy for boards to become cluttered e.g. post-its of different colours, sizes and fonts (a manner to restrict which shapes are available in a shared board would be useful)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used for group work preparation e.g. to group, align and prioritise document resources (This works better visually than a shared directory)
Used in group discussions - gives all participants an opportunity to have an input (unlike face to face meetings where it is possible for 1 or 2 people to dominate discussion)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Prepare a layout for all board users to adhere to.
Be firm about which shapes/templates can be used (e.g. post-its or comments) by users of a shared board.

Miro enhances our brainstorming and planning workflow in a great and collaborative way.
What do you like best about the product?
The fluent collaboration and great templates speed up our creative and strategic processes/meetings. The interface is clean and easy to use, with no tutorial needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use Miro on a Samsung Flip 2, unfortunately some menus are not visible (e.g., the bottom left menu bar with presentation mode).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like to keep working creatively on a whiteboard. Due to home office, this is often impossible as a whole team. Miro helps us to keep up our processes with employees abroad. Of course, we can work way more flexibly and creatively with Miro in contrast to an analog whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We've tried several other online collaboration tools, but none met the stability, ease of use, and scope of functions.
Single solution that helps to draft your product ideas digitally
What do you like best about the product?
1. Onboarding - Choosing a template related to the idea.
2. Mind Mapping is an excellent feature that helps to quickly sketch the user flow on the chart.
3. 3rd party integrations with other products like Notion and Monday.com.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. When multiple people are working on one common template, the template gets stuck and lags.
2. Few plugins like Figma don't work at all.
3. No option to create your own templates.
4. No enough fonts/styles for personalized work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Miro, we are able to find agility in our decision-making and thought processes. The benefits are we can now chalk our ideas and portray all the user flows digitally that could be validated by the peers instantly and comment on it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are struggling to maintain a documented process of your thoughts/ideas, choose Miro to simplify the documenting and keep all your documents at one site.
Miro in Engineering classes
What do you like best about the product?
Infinite whiteboard, easy to use, elegant, highly interactive for students, compatible with groups and academic communities, multiplatform
I have used it for more than two years now, and It is a marvelous tool for subjects like economics, programming, history, etc.
Why use a traditional whiteboard if you can save that time with an infinite board for your whole semester?

What do you dislike about the product?
the three board limit for the free version limits projects for students
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Changing from a traditional class to a distance education model in only two days, I needed a big white board, easy to use, and the chance to design every class easily with multimedia references and broadcasting.
And each student can collaborate in seconds!

Compare all the available options, get all the info you can. If you are using zoom or meets, you know those tools and maybe a few others, so make your checklist and compare, you will find the best choice

My go-to Digital Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a simple, intuitive, and visually engaging software that makes working on a screen enjoyable. While the templates are great, I often use the software for affinity and mind mapping. The simplicity in connecting elements with lines is my favorite feature. It helps me show concepts as they evolve and develop a functional hierarchy. When working on live documents with teammembers, the voting and timing features also work great and it's easy to get around within the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want more options for coloring and working with sticky notes. When working with user data, I often color code each participant by color, but there are not enough colors for all the participants, which leads to many problems. Sometimes I will turn over to text boxes, but because they do not auto-resize, it is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on analyzing user interview data. I bring interview notes into Miro and afinitize them to draw insights through a multi-staged process of sentiment evaluation, topic arrangement, and jobs to be done. These categories are combined to craft insights from each section of the research. The benefit is quick and easy manipulation of the data. For me, the best part is simply copying/pasting the WIP data into a new section to affinitize; this enables a traceable history of the data - something that physical notes are unable to do

Try it out! I have used both Miro and Mural, and I easily prefer Miro because it feels more polished
Excellent visual thinking tool
What do you like best about the product?
The app is super efficient at putting my thoughts to "paper". I can make sticky notes boards and make them into a deck of slides quickly. It gives me freedom in organizing and at the same time it aids to perform specific "thought process" with beautiful visual templates (i.e. Retro, decision boards, mind maps, etc.)
The feature that drove me to it is importing real sticky notes by simply taking a picture. I can work both on paper and digitally.
The app is VERY fast on Mac (slightly slower on windows, but acceptable)
It comes full to the brim with beautiful templates and a ton of resources to get the most out of it. Most of the templates are self explanatory and easy to use. I have learned more than I anticipated just looking at those templates.
Another selling point was the pricing model - I went with "consultant" plan because I share the boards occasionally (for specific task) with different groups of people. It is both affordable and fairly priced.

What do you dislike about the product?
The windows app could be faster. Also, general windows experience is less than ideal - especially scrolling, but this might be specific to the operating system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to brainstorm and collect thoughts visually. I have performed retros, brainstorming sessions and I keep my thought-maps in it.
The app is fast and unobtrusive - and that is the killer feature for me.
No. 2 are the templates for other processes - one can learn a lot by reviewing them
