Powerful Beyond Scheduling, but Occasional Loading and Filter Issues
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater strives to go beyond just scheduling social content, and I'm excited to see how to leverage its other tools
What do you dislike about the product?
The software sometimes does not work, either struggling to load or not applying the filters that I have chosen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The introduction of Mira makes it easier to write social posts, and I'm looking forward to trying it out for things like building analytical reports

User-Friendly, Exceptional Support, and Time-Saving
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Meltwater to send out media pitches and track all my earned media. We also utilize the social media monitoring platform to gauge our social listening. It is so useful in formulating my media outreach lists for all 50+ media markets, and it is such a time saver. I really love the platform because it is so user-friendly, which saves me time and makes training new hires easier. I really appreciate the customer service and have monthly calls with my customer success manager who is very helpful in helping me understand the platform to ensure I'm getting the most out of our contract. The initial setup was very easy, and the whole process was seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I can think of off the top of my head.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater to send media pitches and track earned media. It helps in formulating media outreach lists for over 50 markets, saving a lot of time.
Great Visuals and AI Summaries for Mention Spikes
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way MW provides visuals for spikes and dips in mentions. I also like how it provides AI summaries to accompany the spikes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike certain API limitations, though I understand that’s not MW’s fault.

User-Friendly Dashboards and Exportable Reports, but Metrics Need More Transparency
What do you like best about the product?
The Explore & Engage dashboards are user friendly and I like how the reports can be accessible for exporting to other solutions

I wish there was more transparency on the "Reach" and "Earned Media Value" metrics

Multiplatform view that coincides with my companies insights working with publishers, agencies & brand / advertisers direct.
Insightful Tools with AI Explorer and Custom Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
Great tools overall—thorough, deep, and genuinely insightful. The AI explorer is especially helpful for running searches quickly, saving them, and setting up email alerts, all within a single interface. I also really appreciate being able to create custom dashboards, which let me monitor my social activity and sentiment, along with competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sentiment analysis is confusing. It sometimes labels a consistently negative social post as positive, and sometimes does the opposite. Because of that, it ends up requiring manual curation to get reliable results. I realize other tools can have similar limitations.

Helps me do my job more quickly and easily -- finding the alerts and putting them at my fingertips. Also helpful for monitoring social sentiment and activity.

I like that Meltwater offers a sophisticated range of tools that are visually appealing and easy to navigate. The report generator, with its filtered options, makes it easy to generate multiple versions of the same information. The initial setup was seamless, and it was easy for my team to create their accounts.

Great for Media Relations, Needs Better Excel Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Meltwater's media database and the data about reach. It helps me a lot in media relations across multiple countries by driving me to the most important media, contacts, and relevant data from my outreaches. It is also handy for doing our reports and managing our brand voice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration between Excel data and Meltwater is very difficult, and I was not able to use personal contacts to be evaluated.
