The Best Platform to Unify a Marketing Team
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to assign posts to my coworkers for approval, which allows for quick and easy checks and balances process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I were able to assign my coworkers comments, so if I don't know the answer to a question or comment, then I could give it to another user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can respond to my audiences throughout all the platforms quickly; the best thing I've realized is I never need to use Facebook Messenger again. The platform makes social media management a one-stop shop.
I'd strongly recommend based on the variety capabilities the platform features.
What do you like best about the product?
We've been able to consolidate several efforts within our agency's social media team into one platform rather than relying on multiple platforms to provide the data we need. Thanks to Meltwater, we've expanded our own capabilities to support more in-depth media monitoring, social listening reporting, influencer identification and support, and community management for our agency and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tools offered for Meltwater packages can be very 'a la carte' and can add up quickly cost-wise. I do wish there were some capabilities that were automatically a part of some of the packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating solutions for our clients that they otherwise would not have the capacity to figure out on their own. We're also able to do more in-depth social listening to better determine the framing of upcoming initiatives or campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a variety of needs that you would like serviced, Meltwater is a great option for housing all of those services in one place.

I like best the social media calendar and sending press releases to our media lists
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes photos cannot be used in social media and the reason is cryptic (ratio).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving posting once to various social media channels and sending press releases to saved media lists.
There is nothing like this platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Oh so many things. The listening and monitoring are incredible, the ability to reach out to reporters and pitch and send releases right through the platform is such a Time saver. The social media suite is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The social media suite is the thing I like the least. But, it's still a good product. I do wish there were a bit more customization abilities within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to see and post all content on one platform is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The entire company is responsive and incredibly punctual.
Data is great but the system and reporting is disappointing

Data Quality and classification and Search Bar is very efficient

The Campaign report is missing an export option as PDF, there is no way to relaunch a sent campaign. A lot of limitation on the list and export of data. Hard to maintain a demo list to show client

Their functionality is comprehensive. But honestly, their account management and service is fantastic.

So far so good. I see then adding capabilities regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is my go to Top of Funnel, Brand awareness service. No one beats Meltwater for getting the good word out across America.

Delivers in depth reports directly to your inbox daily. The measured analytics are helpful in determining content strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inevitably you end up with mentions that are not relevant so better filtering would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us track mentions of our brand, see who is talking about us, and where we can focus more of our efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to navigate and user friendly. What's more its online/chat assistance has been a major assistance with all navigation and search requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform currently is unable to "crawl" for mention of our entity on certain online publications. If we do not keep track of the publication of the content in order to load the search manually, it might be missed. However, the add content option is a major plus in this regard as the data is not unattainable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track our national/local competitors and now we are able to conduct international competitor benchmarking. Meltwater has assisted us in gathering the data to see how we are comparing to our international convention peers which has been of great use.

Sometimes the operating system is laggy.

What do you like best about the product?
There was nothing I found useful about this tool. There are many other alternatives out there that do the same for less.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bad business practices. Deliberately hide termination policies and bad client services.
