Robust AI Features, Limited Customization

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to access so many data sources and cut it in different ways with Meltwater. I like the new AI functionality, which allows for quick quote pulling without having to scroll through the data. The initial setup of Meltwater was simple too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The visualizations don't have enough customization, and I struggle with audience profiles only pulling from Twitter. I'm really upset about no longer being able to export Reddit data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater for social listening and AI analysis, which helps with quick quote pulling without data scrolling. It supports data insights, opportunity discovery, validation, and trend analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the built-in dashboards, and I really appreciate that they don’t require any coding knowledge to set up or implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Engage platform can be tricky to use and time-consuming, especially when uploading several images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently moved our social media management into meltwater with our pr monitoring for a more streamlined process

A Trusted, Sophisticated Media Intelligence Platform That’s Easy to Manage

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using PR management tools since the 2000s. Meltwater has become my trusted resource for all things media. Meltwater has evolved and grown to become a sophisticated media management and intelligence platform. After overcoming some too-simplified UI hiccups a few years ago, the experience is generally easy to manage, configure and maximize. Breadth and access to reporters across beats I don't usually work with has been helpful. It's also been invaluable for reporting. The addition of AI capabilities has been helpful so far although I am still looking forward to using Klear and Mira more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some KPIs we report on require us to calibrate data we get from Meltwater. For example, Substack influencers are presented as having the reach of the whole platform vs their subscriber base. In B2B sectors where substackers are prominent, this can quickly distort numbers. LinkedIn's lockout of 3rd parties is a challenge the industry is dealing with as a whole.
Otherwise, not much else to comment on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping us provide quick access to complex reporting needs. It also helps us identify media targets for aspects of our pitching that are adjacent to our primary beats, particularly useful for trendjacing.

What do you like best about the product?
All of the useful tools and parameters that help my business pull more detailed insights and granular reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Klear influencer platform doesn’t often yield many results and outreach to influencers via the platform rarely, if ever, gets responses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us find influencers who are an ideal fit for our brand and provides insights into their platform, making it easier to confirm that their audience, identity, tone, language, and overall style align with ours. This gives us more confidence going into collaborations and supports more effective partnerships.

Stream Monitoring That Helps Us Move Fast During High-Volume Crises

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the insights they provide. And our reps Savanah and Andres who are always there to help when we need help with building searches or are having issues with the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software can be unreliable. Features change while I'm actively monitoring a stream. Critical features that we rely on stop working like being able to select multiple mentions at once so I can tag and mark sentiment. During an active crisis we can have thousands of mentions and this can significantly slow down our process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us be able to alert our clients to potential brand risks, so they can be in the know and stay ahead of any crisis that might take off.
