Good comprehensive solution for media monitoring and posting on social
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to program posts on social and do all social accounts at once. Excellent reach for media monitoring. Good customer service. A lot of options for customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the programming features are a bit fiddly, but they solve issues quickly. They can be expensive for everything. Competitive on most things, but given the services decent value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of what's going on in the world, what people are saying about us, what impact our initiaves is having but also whether our comms/pr steageies are working. Helps with reporting to my colleagues on the Executive Team.
I think this is a really convinient and comprehensive platforms for all our social needs.

The ability to schedule all kinds of content and personalize it as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
there are a lot of glitches in posting and analytics sometimes.

being able to summarize analyses and schedule social.

The user interface is intuative and once you use it enough times, it's very easy to find what you are looking for.

I think that Meltwater could add more features without significantly increasing the pricing.

Easy to publish content. Social listening is a great feature as well

UI is clunky and can be slow. Reporting could be fleshed out more (similar to Sprout Social)

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is the first place I go to every morning when I log in for the day. At a quick glance, I can be up to date on all my business and industry mentions and updates, while gaining valuable insights that can help me curate the best and most engaging content for Malbek’s audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features to take advantage of which may seem overwhelming. But their great customer service team always checks in to make sure we are making the most of Meltwater.

It is helping us to gain insights that enable us to create and customize our content appropriately.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can tag other accounts in the Engage feature. It makes the job of a social media manager easier. It would be great if all platforms allowed Meltwater to do this.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Engage feature could use more upgrades to its capabilities like tagging other accounts across platforms, making sure emojis are updated, and really refining the end-to-end experience of posting and scheduling content for multiple platforms on Meltwater without having to manually do it for each account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's the ability to handle all public relations needs in one space. It's great having an all-in-one software that can minimize the amount of training when building teams.
a robust platform with lots to offer, but unreliable
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has pretty much all the bases covered when it comes to digital marketing, from social media posts to marklet monitoring, it truly is all there. it has all of the same featuresd as the other industry leaders in this area.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the interface is not the clearest and have found the platform to be unreliable with social accounts losing their connections regularly and the ability to see comments not working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem it has really solved for us is the scheduling and posting of social media posts., although we are questioning wether we should be changing to someone else as it feels like we are paying an awful lot for what we are actually getting/using.

What I like most about Meltwater is how user-friendly it is in terms of its interface; it's genuinely intuitive and easy to navigate. I also appreciate its PR assistant, which streamlines certain processes and helps avoid starting from scratch. Additionally, it enhances overall efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Meltwater is that you have access to only 6 topic lists to follow, and it lacks a preview of the news it displays. Additionally, this limitation can hinder the breadth of information you can monitor effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me connect with journalists interested in covering the field I work in, which is women and education. It also assists me in tracking topics of interest related to this and facilitates the distribution of information where I want it to be. Additionally, it streamlines the outreach process for my specific niche.
Helpful but overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater offers a ton of monitoring and metrics, and once you learn the system, you see how valuable it is. There is a learning curve and that is daunting. They do have a ton of resources and classes though that make learning it easier. And our rep is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the monitoring as much, because I feel like that is one of the more complicated parts to learn. If you're not an expert in Boolean logic, it can be difficult.Our rep has always been extremely helpful though when it comes to helping us with searches though. I also hate that you can't monitor LI, but that's on LI, not Meltwater.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater makes it easy for us to build and update media lists, track reporters' engagement, and monitor relevant issues. It also user friendly once you understand the system.
