What do you dislike about the product?
We often find that data analysts needs to make extensive changes that data engineers can do easily; but in my view there should be not such a distinction. There are business users that can create dashboards; and there are technical users that can create / adjust the underlying models
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have realized an estimated ~ 250k in benefits resulting from process optimization
We have a very complex process in place, across many silo's, which can now be monitored and improved upon from an end-to-end perspective

Business challenge to find a super user who has both technical and process skills to utilize Celonis tool.

DRO - (Days Receivable Outstanding)
-Detection of changes in payment behavior, signaling customers that could be managing cash flow

It is not only the tool itself that convinces but also the people behind it.
• Online training with different tailored tracks
• Intuitive handling of the tool
• Quick customization of views, dashboards, KPIs without extensive programming knowledge
• A level of transparency that you will never get like this
• Building a community with experience sharing between companies and other enthusiasts
• Excellent support (fast, professional)
• Constantly something new is added (app, function)
• Customer satisfaction as the primary goal
• Analysis options with different jumps and on the fly filtering options e.g., by specific activities, customer, sales, period

During implementation, all persons involved must commit to this and take time.
Each person must complete their training.

technical issues - more or less only fast forward in new topics without completed well working solutions
some times you may feel like a test subject
most effects only when customer is creating pressure

frontend design possibilities are too low and limited

The way how systems are connected and can interact is a huge advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the documentation or the training tracks use depreciated methods or are not at the current level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Celonis helps to assist in some departments with finding information and with automating processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the training tracks. Most of them work well and are a great way to get started and familiar with most of the important tools.

Market leader in process mining. Great visualization of process data and integration from data extraction to process automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very strong focus on new features mostly built for marketing—almost no focus on usability for data integration and building of analysis, automation steps, and so on. Customer voice is only heard if new and fancy features are the result not if the existing features could become better.
Support in case of errors is limited and some resulutions take ages because of the aforementioned reasons.

Celonis Process Mining is an analytical discipline for uncovering business processes. Process Mining is based on fact-based actual data.
What do you dislike about the product?
No comments or suggestions on what doesn't work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementation process overview in the business process (sub-process steps and sequences that show inconsistencies)
Celonis helped us measure the unmeasurable
What do you like best about the product?
Within months we were able to visualize our true process and start measuring aspects around our process that we have never been able to before. Celonis has pre-built apps that allow for quick and easy implementation, leading us to many quick realizations/wins from the beginning. The user interface is easy to use and will enable us to drill down into data that would typically take us weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been much to dislike so far. One of our challenges is allowing the users to set up their own views by using the bookmarks. The bookmarks are great, but if you move or replace a workbook, the bookmarks are wiped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to reduce the time investigating the assumptions about our process and more time showing the value of what fixing the process would do for our teams. We've put real numbers behind our initiatives for delivery blocks and automated order entry and can quickly track and control our improvements.
