Turn ESG goals into achievements with AI-powered insights from Celonis on AWS. Reduce waste, lower carbon emissions, and improve sustainability reporting across your value chain.
Companies worldwide have set ambitious sustainability targets but often struggle to turn these commitments into reality. Without the right tools to measure and act on the environmental impact of core processes, they miss critical opportunities to cut emissions, reduce waste, and stay ahead of evolving ESG regulations.
The Sustainability Solution Suite, jointly developed by Celonis and AWS, bridges this gap. By connecting supply chain and emissions data, it delivers accurate, actionable insights that align sustainability and profitability.
Powered by process intelligence, the solution uncovers hidden sustainability potential in operations - from emissions caused by inefficient logistics to waste from overproduction. AI and optimization engines on AWS then translate these insights into concrete, sustainable actions, linking process excellence directly to both planetary and business value.
Highlights
Reduce Carbon Emissions in Your Supply Chain: Go beyond simple reporting. Intelligently consolidate freight loads to reduce truck miles and minimize the use of carbon-intensive air freight by using AI to prevent and manage material shortages.
Minimize Waste & Promote a Circular Economy: Prevent over-ordering and reduce obsolete stock with better lead time and material availability planning. Identify patterns in product failures to improve repairability and support refurbishment programs.
Operationalize ESG with Celonis and AWS: This suite is built on a unique synergy where Celonis process intelligence finds and quantifies sustainability opportunities, which then activates AI and optimization engines on AWS to execute greener, more efficient actions.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.

You buy The Celonis Sustainability Suite through a single unit-based dimension under a contract. Pricing scales with the number of units you commit to, rather than through separate tiers or plans. You select a quantity of units, and your cost tracks that count. The suite connects emission and supply chain data to track and report emissions across your operations. Because there is one dimension, there are no size levels or add-on options to compare. To size your unit commitment for your data volumes and reporting needs, contact the vendor.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit represent for billing in this suite?
The pricing table lists a single unit-based dimension without defining what one unit maps to in terms of data volume, emission records, or reporting scope. Because this detail is not specified in the available data, contact the vendor to confirm how units are counted for your sustainability reporting needs.
How does my cost change as my sustainability data or reporting grows?
Cost tracks the number of units you commit to under your contract. As your emission tracking and supply chain reporting expand, you adjust your committed unit count. There are no separate tiers, so cost scales directly with units rather than crossing plan boundaries.
What capabilities are included in the committed unit price?
Your commitment covers connecting emission and supply chain data, tracking Scope 3 emissions, and generating reports. It uses transactional data and AI to measure emissions and flag reduction opportunities across procurement and logistics. All capabilities fall under the single unit-based dimension you commit to.

Process optimization with Celonis: Intuitive tools, but UI improvement needed
Reviewed on Aug 04, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly appreciate the Annotation Builder, as it offers an easy way to integrate AI into a process. The Knowledge Models we have established across systems are essential. I find the integration with third-party systems great — for most systems, there are Celonis Standard Connectors. The pre-built Process Mining functions are also very helpful, as they make both data input and the sharing of Celonis Insights with various stakeholders straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the UI-building experience sometimes lags behind, which can be annoying, and I encounter errors when creating task types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Celonis provides us with a contextual layer for process optimizations and facilitates the integration of AI through the Annotation Builder and Knowledge Models. It enables easy data integration and the sharing of insights, which significantly simplifies our work.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Celonis is how effectively it turns complex operational data into clear, actionable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Celonis mostly comes down to complexity, cost, and adoption friction, especially for organizations that are earlier in their process‑mining journey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Celonis is solving the gap between how companies think their processes run and how they actually run, and that has very practical benefits for me in terms of clarity, decision‑making, and impact.

Cost-saving dashboards have been streamlined while AI features show growing potential

Review provided by PeerSpot
What is our primary use case?
I have an account with PeerSpot because I downloaded a couple of reports on products like Bizagi, Celonis, and Microsoft Power Automate, and I use Microsoft and Celonis.
I am familiar with The Celonis Sustainability Suite, and I have heard about it.
I am not using The Celonis Sustainability Suite for resource optimization; I am using a completely different product for that.
I am not using The Celonis Sustainability Suite for sustainability purposes; I am using it for cost-saving purposes.
I have started using the built-in AI functionality of Celonis, and I am still trialing it, but I think there is potential in it.
What is most valuable?
As soon as I have my data model sorted out, my flexibility to develop dashboards is quite easy. I have a lot of flexibility to develop dashboards if I have my data model figured out, but obviously getting that data model figured out is the tough part of things if I am not using standard SAP or anything like that.
I am saving costs.
Our model updates daily. It is not real-time, but I think for my purposes, it is fine, and it allows me to save costs.
What needs improvement?
I think to implement it is quite easy, but when I want to do specialized work, it is a bit more difficult.
Specialized topics cause difficulty, and I think it is obviously business case driven. If I do not have the right skills in terms of either from my employment partner or in-house, I will find it difficult to get the specific business cases built out. It is easy to do the mainstream work.
When I start to build industry-specific work or business-specific work, then I think skills are probably the limitation, both on the Celonis side and probably from my implementation business partner and my in-house company representatives or specialists.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Celonis for five years already.
How are customer service and support?
Celonis has a value engineer assigned to my account, and they are good. He assists me, and he is almost like a consultant.
I would rate support from Celonis a nine.
What other advice do I have?
My account manager told me about The Celonis Sustainability Suite, and I have been using it for about a year.
I am not using carbon footprint tracking with The Celonis Sustainability Suite.
I rate this review a nine overall.

Intuitive, but Could Be More User-Friendly for Business Users
Reviewed on Nov 07, 2025
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Celonis offers the ability to see the complete flow in process mining, which I find very valuable as it helps to understand the full lifecycle of business processes. Additionally, the interpretation of this flow is easy, which is essential for making informed decisions quickly. Celonis is quite intuitive, meaning there is no steep learning curve, allowing me to adapt quickly and use the tool effectively without needing other support tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Celonis could be a bit simpler for the business user. Although it is quite intuitive, simplifying it even more would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Celonis for process mining, which helps me understand the complete lifecycle of our processes in an intuitive and easy-to-interpret way.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Celonis is very user-friendly, which makes it easy to navigate through its features. Its user interface is very nice, providing an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive experience. Additionally, the library of knowledge offered by Celonis is extremely good, providing me with access to a wealth of information and resources that are valuable for effectively utilizing the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the data sources do not work well, though this seems to be more of an issue with external data sources from other companies rather than with Celonis itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Celonis to create a digital twin of our processes, helping us fix processes and find bottlenecks within our company.
