Great tool for R&D
What do you like best about the product?
- Integrates well with other CRM tools

- Too many tickets and notifications. Important information is lost in the noise

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration across the teams has become very easy
Best tool to manage and track your project tasks
What do you like best about the product?
What I liked most is its user interface and we can easily track and manage all project activities. Using jira we easily assigned the tasks to our team members. We also generated the sprint report like how much team has utilised the time, how much percentage the activities are completed. It made easy to find at where in sprint we are lagging and taking time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It won't us to delete the ticket once we ticket is raised. I fee it is bit costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In every sprint my supervisor used to assign task to each of our team mates in Jira and we used to update the tasks like what percentage we have completed and where we are get strucked. After sprint completed we used to take reports and track how our tram performed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Awesome too go for it.

Rich functionality. Flexible. Great for scrum teams.

Unfortunately, when an application has as much flexibility and richness as Jira, there are inevitably complexities of usability and navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syncing with ServiceNow has been very handy.

it has easy search features, the pages load quickly. it also remembers the things that you pasted when the page is refreshed.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a pasting issue. somethings when you copy and paste images or links, it doesn't show up on the page. you have to keep refreshing it and try again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we control our fleet with it. it makes is easier for our various teams to use it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
have high-speed internet

JIRA is insanely flexible and it can fit most, if not all workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
All of JIRA's flexibility comes at the expense of being impossible to configure it without Googling tutorials.

Collaboration between product and engineering.

What do you like best about the product?
Once it was configured and setup, it was easy to use and allowed us to customize the workflow with "gates" and "validations"
What do you dislike about the product?
To configure and set up is not intuitive. You really need training or experience specifically on setting up and configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we used it for writing stories and bugs and epics. We customized the workflow to match our process.

Get access to an experienced Jira administrator to get it set up and configured

In conjunction with a centralized sheet, Jira is a great tool for inter-team organization

The volume of tickets that are used in the Jira can be difficult to navigate and the permissions to create tags/ filters are not clear

INter-team organization, priority at the individual level

There are many modules within Jira that fit almost any software development or task management need. I can solve my organizational issues in many ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin of user privileges is often difficult to find and use. User permissions on features are not easily understood or found in a single location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can organize my team and help them stay on track with their responsibilities. I can break large tasks down into small tasks and make more efficient progress in my projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure there is a super-user in Jira that will help to create consistent projects within the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
In Jira, we can create a different dashboard for different purposes like for dev, testing, etc. We can add filters for teams and projects. Apps feature where we can make our desired team members and functionalities.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you get used to this software, it's perfect for handling data for any project. But in the beginning, you will find it difficult to understand. Sometimes we need to do manual work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jira software for managing and tracking project data, where we follow all the development and defect in the project. We can assign that dev/defect to any person or team and track whether the dev/defect is completed/resolved before the due date.
