The Best Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Agile Methodology can be best practiced if we are using Jira as the tool. Sprint, Scrum Roles, ceremonies, creation of different dashboards to allocate and track the task is the highlight. Each task can be created as Jira tickets and this can be slotted to the backlog and then to the Scrum Board Or Kanban Board when it is assigned to a person with the time estimate.
Every bit of work remains tracked as no other tools or methods are required
Every bit of work remains tracked as no other tools or methods are required
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as a dislike. But there is a glitch I've found when we create a new jira card and when the view is switched to text from normal view. Editing becomes a lot confusing as there are certain prefixes to be used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software development Project is completely tracked with Jira. Each team member is been added to the scrum team. Gets access to whichever the boards they need to be in. Every bit of work is on track with correct practice of Agile Methodology and Scrum

Well crafted project management solution for agile methods.
What do you like best about the product?
Features of this application are well suited for any scale of the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features of the application are good and meeting the current requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collabrative task management, bigpiture.
Good task management system that does the heavy lifting
What do you like best about the product?
We are using JIRA software to manage our development tasks and scrum flow. It is straightforward to use for basic features and very customizable. The basic scrum flow is very simple to use, and there is a good integration with bitbucket, which we use for code management.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the system feels too customizable and the flows can be very complex to set up. It is also not the prettiest system I've used but they are improving the UI all the time so I expect this to be less of an issue in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using JIRA as our primary task managment system, and as our scrum/kanban flow manager helps us organize and keep track of all our tasks in a single, cloud-based, system. Having it connected to bitbucket allows us to keep the source and related task connected and have much better tracking of our development flows then we would have without it.
Makes working virtually with my team so easy & time saving!
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite part about Jira is how you can create different catergories for team member. I use this when I send through a task to be done to our developer in india. I can upload a PDF guide for him, he do the work and send it through to my queue for approval. So quick and easy, saves language barriers blocking time and frequent emailing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite a simple software and there are many others out there with a similar concept but with more features. This may be a reason its popular though as its so simple it can't really confuse you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing our business website was a breeze and we used Jira the whole time to connect with our designer and developer in another country. It helped cut out the middle man and meant I could get it done faster!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check that your other softwares do not have a similar feature so you dont overwhelm yourself and double up. Jira is great for simple project management in our team and we will continue to use it for that purpose!
Integration of S/4 with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
The Integration of the Jira with SAP S/4 HANA goes hand-in-hand as the tracking, task assignments, and overall monitoring of the project became highly efficient. Along with all of the above positive points, its really user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall experience of the integration was great, but a few points can be considered to improve upon, like the ease of task handling and permissions required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems that are solved with Jira are Task handling, task assignments, overall monitoring of the project's progress, sprint creation, retrospectives, and transfer of the tasks.

Jira is being widely used as part of DevOps. Jira can be used by different types of users like project managers, developers, non technical people and so on. However the Jira interface is not so user friendly and may confuse some users.

Jira Fan
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is great at helping our remote development team stay connected, on track, and focused. The collaboration is excellent. Additionally, it allows the needed transparency to our project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting in Jira may as well be non-existent. I can export data to a CSV file to send reports, but that is not sustainable. Jira is an online tool and may need to be excluded from your toolset if reporting is a non-negotiable requirement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our development team is remote. We use Jira to stay agile even when face-to-face meetings are not possible. We also use Jira to provide transparency to our stakeholders on our priorities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When bringing Jira into your organization, realize that this is an online tool. It is intended for 100% online usage.
