Technology consultant project management
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is useful to navigate and update the issues in real time. It gives us visible representation of task and fun to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be made more user friendly and in order to filter the issues there must be a dedicated UI.

The project management and approval by stakeholders are done in real time.

Jira has given us the means to become more organized and process oriented.
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has allowed us to become more organized in how we approach cycle planning, assigning of tasks, and the tracking and logging of bugs. When used properly, all users are able to log in to view where we are in different projects and with different tasks which, in turn, has allowed us to become a much more informed organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is only a tool. It is not a magical solution to issues that exist within an organization nor does it resolve the need to for documentation across various parts of the organization. If left unmanaged for too long, Jira can become overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Jira, we didn't have a uniform way to track bugs/issues or a uniform way for the organization as a whole to clearly view cycle work being completed. Jira has allowed us to provide the various teams with the needed visibility and to work in a transparent way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is good to do a deep-dive analysis of your current process and pain points. While Jira provides tools to help address various areas of friction within an organization, it requires a commitment to designed workflows and needs engagement. It is very easy for Jira to become a "black hole" for issues, tasks, and requests if left unattended and un-updated.
Best way to report a problem with tech
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is very easy to use Jira as you just needs to find appropriate team and open a ticket and it gets assigned very quickly so reporting happens easily and we can figure out an answers and solving, faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I raise tickets, I receive Emails if anyone is assigned or is wrote something, but it can be improved in a way that you also receive notifies when there is not any update for several times. E.g. for a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every singly tech and IT problem that is in our company we can solve it by Jira we are just opening a ticket and waiting for assignment and everything goes really well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend you to follow up tickets which you have open because it is not possible to receive notifies about not updating.
Best Project Management and bug handling tool
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is indeed the best project management tool it gets all the features whether you want to create a kanban board or scrum board plus you can track all the changes and bug stages with Jira also it gets a Nice UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, there's nothing I don't like about Jira it gets all the features that I want that's why it is one of the best project management tool and mostly used across the globe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My day-to-day changes are created reported and delivered by Jira. Through Jira, I can showcase all of my works with my colleagues and managers also Jira helps me setting a deadline for my task.

It is the best project management toll most used across the globe just go for it

Lots of options and features. Highly configurable, integrates well with confluence.

I never really used her all that much, so she could be a little confusing sometimes as I Was not familiar with SOME of the interfaces.

Look into asana first, it might suit your needs better. They both have their benefits!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our software product backlog using jira. It's really easy to track the progress of issues with Jira. Also, we are keeping track of the time taken to complete a task.

I highly recommend Jira for anyone who is looking for competent project management.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira was designed for software development (SFDC) and works incredibly well for that purpose - most teams at my company use this tool every day. We also recently began using this tool for project management and task management to avoid leveraging other project management tool. Needless to say, Jira saves everyone time ... when leadership supports it's proper use (and it's configured properly).
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications for due dates and reminders could be a bit better (more obvious would only help assignees stay on track if they miss accomplishing something in the process). That said, most problems about this that I see are behavioral and are addressed with proper / thorough training and support internally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jira to manage multiple conflicting projects with constantly shifting priorities - everything is critical, so we use Jira to ensure we can properly diagnose all requests and situations, then reprioritize. Rinse and repeat daily.

Utilize Confluence in conjunction with Jira to properly document whatever is happening in software dev or project management

Reports and tracking purpose I use jira on daily basis.

The workflow for handling tickets has changed, and the user interface is not very simplified.

Jira Keeps Me in Check
What do you like best about the product?
I like the different options that Jira provides. There is the option for a regular scrum, or there is the option for a Kanban board. Both are great options, in my opinion. It is the one thing that keeps me in check and helps me get my work don.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has to be a developer touching everything it seems like to get any customization. I wanted to have time on some of my cards, but it wasn't there originally, and we had to talk to one of our Jira admins or our Jira designers. I'm not sure what they are, but they had to work with it before the change could occur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project clarification, and understanding, also provide insight for the stakeholder so they can see where everything is. I have used Jira on many teams to solve problems, but it all leads back to the same thing. What is being done, and how far along is it?
