Manage And Plan Business task, coordination and work assignment, easy approval of work.
Best Test Management Tool with excellent features
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is the best one in the market for managing all the test activities efficiently by analyzing, tracking, and reporting. I highly recommend Jira for bug tracking, and mainly, it is beneficial for agile software teams. We can integrate many plugins through Jira like the x-ray plugin and slack. It is easy to create a scrum board depending on your needs that is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I can see a lot of tickets assigned for that I feel overwhelmed. I don't think I can dislike this software. I believe it is costly. Jira query system is a bit difficult for new learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira manages all the activities within our team and collaborates across groups. It puts all the work in one place, making our company more agile and productive.
Easy way to view all tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you're able to create each tasks and assign it to team members or to yourself. It's easy to create a kanban board or a scrum board depending on your needs to view all of the tasks and what's in backlog, progress, etc. I also really like that there's a way for you to integrate with slack, that way whenever a jira ticket is created on a specific board, I never miss it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does get overwhelming sometimes when you are watching a lot of jira tickets. Personally there's nothing that I dislike about Jira, I think it's easy to use and very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that I'm trying to solve with Jira is to allow everyone to understand and know the tasks that they will be doing for the next 2 weeks. It's also used for the product manager to see what we have in the backlog and to help prioritize.
Great task-management software across teams
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Slack & Confluence. Ability to customize my dashboard. Email/Slack notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how easy it is for tickets/comments to be buried and left behind. Also, tickets can't be deleted(?) so if you make extra tickets, they just stack up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, collaboration between teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good software for mid/large-size companies to manage tasks and track projects. Someone probably need to keep organizing the tickets to prevent them from being backlogged too much.
Powerful tool but comes at the price of complexity
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is extremely powerful and provides many different ways to create service desks. The basic functions of Jira are simple to use and easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can become too complex when trying to look through settings and make detailed adjustments to Jira projects. The options in their settings are not always intuitive and require that you reach out to support or take the time to read through forums.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps every team at our company manage the projects they are working on and internal customer tickets in a simple easy to use way. Jira makes it easy for every team to manage and track the projects they are working on.
IT management and CX bug reporting finally meet
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting technical bugs and errors the old-school way is a sure way to have issues pending forever and more. This software makes it super easy to properly report anything that might be causing an issue and to receive an actual response in a timely manner. No ticket/report gets lost ever! IT teams and managers can prioritize, but still get to every issue reported, they can also get relevant data, screenshots, multiple case examples gathered at one place. Additional information can be added later for better investigation purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira definitely has a learning curve but is not overly complicated and all the features are useful. It is time-consuming to create a ticket but the results are worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jira mostly for Software projects. But there is the option to add Business projects as well. It creates accountability, projects are finished in a timely manner.
Review for jira software
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very useful application as you can easily track your assigned tasks in it with available due date along with the priority of the issue whether high or low or urgent for delivery.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is nothing much which I dislike about this tool except that multiple due dates like target due date and requested due date creates a little challenge while closing the jira from audit point of view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major benefit is you can easily track the complete team's delivery and can easily validate whose tickets in team are in overdue state to catch that person and ask for the reason of delay.
Versatile & Powerful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly the tool is! You can customize your projects to fit every industry's needs, from small projects of a few people to larger teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of its many features, Jira definitely has a learning curve. Once you learn all the ins and outs though, it is very flexible for any type of project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is amazing to keep people accountable. It's also great for transparency and better communication across team members - everyone knows what needs to be done, when, and by whom.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend learning the tool before jumping straight into using it.
Perfect Tracking Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track all my task according to sprint, ability to assign to different people etc
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit overwhelming for first few days to learm
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see what Tasks I'm working on, which I need to assign to different people, it tells me what stage is the issue on, it helps me organise sprints
There’s gotta be a better way.
What do you like best about the product?
Has good integration with other tools in the Atlassian suite. Also offers cloud based saas solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search is terrible. It's so bad that users have to learn how to write queries in J-sql, which is easy, but unnessary. Doing simple things like seeing all open tickets for a single employee or creating a dashboard of all my employees is frustratingly difficult and documentation is vague. The tool has a lot of features, but nothing about it is intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ticketing for the developer teams and project management and sprint planning/tracking.
