Perfect Solution for Software Lifecycle Management
What do you like best about the product?
Two most used abilities I like best is to be able to create Boards and Dashboards.
In boards, we can basically handle and create multiple swim lanes. We can also create multiple dashboards using numerous number of widgets provided by Jira which basically gives us a birds eye view!

What do you dislike about the product?
It has a little learning curve involved for creating & managing multiple projects. But I believe that's the case with any software application.

Amazing tool to manage project and tasks, support
What do you like best about the product?
I ha e used jira for 1.5 years. It's just amazing tool to manage your project, tasks , support, client tickets and many more. We can manage project board with different tasks.we can create PCR sheet, we can link PR and git history easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
For bigginer it's little bit time taking tool to adopt it. But once you use to it. It will save your lots of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have managed large scale projects in jira. Almost 150 developer in the same project. easy to manage individual task for each developer. End client communication can be done using this

What do you like best about the product?
Allows yo create multiple projects, dashbords, kanban bords, we can query issues/task/user story with simple auto populated query language. Allow to difine customized workflows, feilds, labels. Estimate story and subtasks.
Gives reports at the end of sprint.
Integration with version control tools like git and bitbucket helps to create branch and tract the pull requests and commits from jira itself.

Good tracking of tasks and progress.
Effective planning.
We can search backlogs and check for assigned task on our name.

Jira used for Service Desk is rich in function but could improve on user friendliness
What do you like best about the product?
It is cloud based. It can integrate well with our Gmail account to generate tickets and also the user of our web front end as service portal to generate tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, small issues like any "customers" email ever with a bounce back will have the email address notifications automatically turned off, making it not possible to have tickets reaching them anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as service desk ticketing system. We can use the same system across the globe and have tickets assigned to agents in various regions. Also some automations are developed on ticket assignments and subtickets.

What do you like best about the product?
Great features to follow agile software development, with efficient bug tracking and SDLC management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly complicated to use for new users. Although it has been significantly simplified lately, can do a better job in providing short tips for how to use more effectively.

SDLC management - better track, easier management overall.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy customization and need tickets flow management. Coding is easy for building and maintaining state-of-the-art software. Simple to learn and maintain across all teams
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to manage resources is non-existent; there are some plugins. Jira Software could use a better mobile interface for quickly seeing tickets assigned to a specific person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management and handling tickets for development and testing purposes. Project management becomes unbelievably easy with Jira. Business Performance has increased drastically with it

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a great way to stay on task and up-to-date with the latest projects. When there are multiple deadlines, it can be overwhelming to keep everything in one place - this is where Jira comes in handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the formatting / design was a little bit more fun and colorful. It looks pretty white and bleak. Otherwise, it is easy to use and I have no problem with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our project manager does a great job at utilizing Jira to keep everyone on track with deadlines and their portion of the project. It is helpful for us all to see the bigger picture.

So far, when I use the tool, I don't see anything I don't like; it meets my needs.

Sprint tasks at work help organize what everyone is doing and what they have already done in a period.

There's no automatation in logging hours

With Jira I change my way of working . I increase the visibility on al the activity that I will do in the future, allowing to organize myself
Neccesary for big teams. Correct setup saves a lot of time.
What do you like best about the product?
Task creating is very easy. You can start creating Epics, stories, task and sub-tasks easily without much knowledge about how Jira work. All the elements and information that can be added on a task give a very good understanding what is happening. Once it is properly setup, it is easy to navigate for everyone devs, QA and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is that when there is a big team, and it needs to set up a complex project, it needs an expert who is previously experienced with Jira to complete the setup and use the board in 100% capacity. I have seen a couple of setups that do not utilize all the Jira's tools because they do not know how to set up the projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my team to manage and track the project from end to end. Benefits are time saved, less money spent, and all in one place for management. The productivity and efficiency of the team did increase when started using Jira
