Best Project Management tool I have ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Jira for the last three years, and I love this product. It's very easily manageable for any agile projects. It really helps to create kanboard dashboards and create task, subtask and can allocate users on a task very effectively. You can also use JQL(JIRA query language) to write custom queries to fetch certain results. You can also create dashboard for tracking purpose. It has so much functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. They are doing well about the integrations and functionality they brought into the software quickly. For a project manager, it's just heaven.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The project Manager can easily do the project management by creating kanboard dashboard, then creating various task, assign the resources to that particular task and can track and monitor efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this tool very highly.
Expensive Tool that Gets the Job Done
What do you like best about the product?
It has excellent integrations with many other tools that engineers typically use. It also covers many of our required use cases for workflow, story creations, and integrations. Lastly, it has fancy reports to gain insights into the team's performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA claims to be the tool for agile when in reality, it can be anti-agile. We often find that we need to change our style of work to fit the tool, rather than the other way around. It also, most of the time, requires some complex configuration to get the total value out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool to track our work, as we were working within the Scrum and Kanban framework. Issues are not much more transparent and visible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an expensive tool. Unless you're a big company with tonnes of cash, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Works best when paired with Confluence.
Best ticketing tool I've used
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is for me the best ticketing tool.
It's :
(1) user friendly and quick to learn
(2) easily customizable (add custom fields, automate work flow..)
(3) integrates smoothly with other tools (confluence, git...)
With some plug-ins, you can even create tickets from a mail!
I used other tools, such as Mantis, Service Now but none of them beats Jira as per the above advantages.

What do you dislike about the product?
I found no downside of Jira to be honest.
It may require some advanced knowledge to master but which tool doesn't?

Track product lifecycle : highlight different approvals across steps
Automate workflow :
- create tickets automatically
- Have dedicated fields per project and ticket type (bug/user story...)
- Create portal for end users to create their tickets, with mandatory fields.

The use cases JIRA is able to solve is insurmountable, is able to integrate with almost all software, systems, and tremendous cross-functional teamwork.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the JIRA board has a high number of issues, it seems to function slowly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in an agile fashion helps me prioritize tasks and helps me stay on top of the projects.

Jira is intuitive and easy to use. It has tons of features and use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes takes a little bit to figure out why something isn't working
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking an enterprise wide initiative. We are responsible for delivering on a specific scope which is subset of this initiative. It's easy for management to see status and understand blockers and report to their leadership.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Might sound obvious but If you don't know how do something Google it.
Jira the best project management solution.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease with which I can manage the project requirements with Jira. I like the ticketing mechanism that Jira follows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I dislike about Jira is it is a bit difficult to create automations within Jira also to Integrate with other software solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Jira to manage my entire project requirements. I use the ticket creation and its project management feature to analyze the progress on the raised tickets and keep a note of the blockers through its accessible commenting and tagging users facility.
Professional Planning Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is so configurable that it lets you be extremely flexible with it. Jira is great for tracking project progress or any other sort of timeline related project and if you do not currently use it then you should be using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes because of how flexible that Jira is it can feel kind of daunting to try using it if you have never used it before, so having some sort of background knowledge on it would be very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is great for decluttering ideas or processes. Jira gives a clear line of thinking to what you want to do, how you want to do it, and in how many steps you want to achieve the task.
