Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Well, I like almost everything in Jira. From creating the new ticket to managing the sprint and project, everything is excellent in Jira.
It provides multiple issue types of tickets, Epics to keep similar tickets together, labels, and fix versions. I love to use Jira to file the bugs.

What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything except the bugs, QA team assigned to me :P. There is no dislike for me in the JIRA or I am not in the state to mention the dislike because this is my first project tracking site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are the team members of around 30 people (Developer & QA) I mean. Our day-to-day tasks have been easily getting tracked in the JIRA. So in the end our project manager has come to know the target tasks getting completed for the sprints. Without JIRA, tracking the individual person's work is very complicated. If it is a small team we can manage with an XL sheet. But for a larger organization, we need to go for the Tracking system. We luckily opted for JIRA.
Here not only you can create stories and track bugs, but you can also add your project end-to-end architecture workflow in the confluence. So the future comers can get to know about that.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your team has been following Agile methodologies you definitely need a project tracking system. So far the best one is JIRA. Here you can also automate the releases etc. And also you can integrate with source code repositories like bitbucket etc.
There's a reason JIRA is the industry standard for software development management.
What do you like best about the product?
The boards make work easy to see, manage, and act on in a meaningful way. You can assign work quickly, see progress, and move stories from the backlog to the active sprint in a few clicks. It allows me, as a Project Manager, to quickly and easily see what the team is doing, prioritize work, and create dashboards to show project stakeholders and management how the projet is going.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA is highly customizable, but that's one of the few downsides. You can build it any way you want. Figuring out what that way is that works best for your team can take a long time. Templates would be helpful. Same goes for dashboards. It would be great to see some best practice examples from other organizations on how dashboards can be configured, so that teams can start seeing their progress and the value of the work they're doing more quikly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're creating boards to manage our web development process, and can already see workloads, manage resources, and show our successes in ways we never have before. Integration with other systems such as ServiceNow allow us to convert user requests in other systems into user stories in JIRA, which we can then act on and prioritize. All of this feeds back to the ticketing system for resolution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We love JIRA, and it's essential to the way we work. If you're managing software in an Agile, or even a DevOps environment. JIRA is the industry standard for a reason. JIRA will improve your workflow in ways you haven't even imagined and transform the way you work. Iterate quickly, and just start using it. You'll soon find out what features work for you and how to organize your boards.
Intuitive Project Management tool with lot of integrations
What do you like best about the product?
One tool for developers, project managers, devops and testers. the User interface has been revamped with the introduction of team-managed projects which are simpler to manage and do not require a dedicated Admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
the user interface can feel a bit sluggish at times but it is not a deal breaker. JIRA is quite intuitive but a lack of in-app guidance can be a bottleneck in adoption for some less tech-savvy people
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project managers use project management templates that come out of the box in JIRA. Scrum masters run their Kanban or Scrum boards in JIRA. With integrations with Bitbucket, GitHub, Slack all the data from these external tools can be visualized at a single place. JIRA has steamlined the processes and brought visibility into the team's pipeline and bottlenecks. Developer productivity has increased manifold.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is a powerful project management solution that comes with a vibrant community and lots of integrations.
Well organized and every feature you could need to manage a project
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use bug reporting and organization, allows you to attach specific issues to specific items and effortlessly communicate if there's need for more information or difficulty reproducing an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
So many features, it's easy to get lost in the interface and miss out on some things that might make your life easier if you knew they were there. Often poor training on the system results in difficulty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, I've primarily used it in regards to organizing projects in an AGILE setting. It keeps clear and open communication between developers and QA, and it makes it so all users always know what tasks are top priority.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to look into all of the features available
Great platform to raise a ticket and keep track of projects.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about JIRA is that it's easy to use and there is no technical specifications needed to use it. Good for raising a ticket and documenting the reports throughout the project lifecycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA provides everything we need to raise and document the error, bugs, or any comments thus, there is not much dislike as of now, the only bad thing I have experience is sometimes the JIRA ticket email arrives too late.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA plateform in our project development lifecycle to keep records and documents for global team. We also use JIRA for reporting errors and bugs while the project is in development phase.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JIRA is highly recommended for those who need bug reporting and documention platform.
My Review

Dev collaboration made easy
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for us to collaborate, track progress, organize and work together in a time period (e.g. two-week sprints). Has a neat kanban board for visualising progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
The page refreshes while editing. Sometimes there is lag when keeping the page open for a while and trying to move tickets via kanban board. If you refresh the page mid-edit, you will lose your progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving team collaboration, tracking issues, organizing sprint planning, bug tracking, product ownership, time estimates for completion, cross-team work and performance visualisation.
JIRA - My everyday work companion for managing projects
What do you like best about the product?
Memorable ticket number. Easy to find and copy ticket history in plaintext. A solid wysiwyg editor. Quite easy to learn. Integrated with Confluence. All in all I like JIRA even though lots of people by default don't like it ... but then there is no better alternative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Table creation. JIRA should have a better way to create tables in the wysivig editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managin tasks related to individual projects. Managin workflow and tracking progress of the individual tasks. Reporting bugs. A backlog management tool. It also allows us to draft an idea quickly in a comment - document it that way, ask other for comments and then get back to it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have been using JIRA for six years every day to track project tasks, bug and their resolution progress. It is a great tool and I do not see anything important what I would miss or what would annoy me. It is even better when integrated with Confluence which can be used for documentation.
