An excellent product to manage work and teams!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the accessibility of Jira Core. It has been very helpful for me to manage multiple projects and stay updated about each of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think this product is great. However, it took me some time to set my grip on t. Maybe make it more user-friendly in future versions?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira s a good way to manage tasks and help everyone in the team stay on the same page. This is effective in terms of saving time and helping everyone track their tasks within an agile environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One way to have the best time using it is by doing a short course/reading more about Jira products or Jira Core specifically.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it can help you perform Agile Management within your team, whether Sprint or Kanban. It's very flawless to create tickets with details, delegate tasks, close sprint and organize everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything that I dislike. I think Jira has everything its customer needs mainly. But perhaps the dark mode isn't visibly great, in my opinion. And it seems like it doesn't cache our session. Thus, I have to refresh every time my laptop just rebooted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I worked at a company that uses Jira; it helps with Agile Management assign tasks and everything. The benefits are mainly how we can be more organized and manage time well.

Dashboards are easy to use, not much setup to get started

Cannot change the process and can only work with the constraints of preset workflows - does not work for my functional part of organization

It is my favorite tool for project management; I used it to work on sprints with our product and dev team.

Useful tool, but frustrating to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Project management is very transparent and checking the status of work items is relatively easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cumbersome design, requires multiple screen progressions to make simple changes that other management tools offer with much more accessibility.

Jira helps our teams to track capacity and work item statuses as they flow from creation, backlog, and finally into active development and completion.
Amazing tool with a steep learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Without a doubt, Jira's best feature is the ability to customize it to your organization. Jira helps our company stay aligned on all projects and work in the pipeline, ensuring everyone is rowing in the same direction.
Jira feels like a solid partner that can scale infinitely as our company grows, so we don't have to worry about 'outgrowing' it. Furthermore, Atlassian continues to innovate, making Jira more powerful, for example, the launch of their Team Central product.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have two key pain points with Jira:
1 - The cost of Marketplace addons. If you want to use an application in the Jira marketplace to fill a need that Jira doesn't currently meet, the costs can be impossible to justify, leaving you between a rock and a hard place. For example, our entire company of 100 people uses Jira across all departments. If our product team of 5 people wants an add-on that costs $10/user, Jira will force us to pay for a license for all 100 users. As a result, we usually have to look for solutions outside of Jira, which is less than ideal. It would be game-changing if Jira could sort these licensing issues, and it severely impacts our ability to get the most out of Jira.
2 - Complexity. There is a steep learning curve as a Jira user and especially as a Jira admin. Once you have learned the ropes, life is excellent, but be prepared to have many frustrating and painful moments! Jira has made some strides to improve this problem, with the creation of 'team managed' projects and slimmed-down versions of Jira, such as Jira Work Management projects.

Before Jira, we had projects split across so many systems - from personal to-do lists, excel sheets, and other project management platforms. With Jira, everything is in one place, making our company more agile and productive.
A Great Platform for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is an easy to use platform with a solid interface that allows teams to collaborate on projects easily. The feature I like most is JQL, Jira's querying language that makes filtering and sorting tickets very easy and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jira runs slowly when our organization reindexes the database, but that's a minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've worked in two different positions in the company on two separate teams and all of our work on both teams has been through Jira. The ticketing system makes planning project workflows easy and with JQL we can query specific tickets and create interactive dashboards.
Jira Sprint Management
What do you like best about the product?
With Jira, we do the work and backlog management throughout the sprint. We form the teams, and we manage the boards they can access. We assign jobs to people. We can query past jobs and filter them according to their status.
What do you dislike about the product?
Application and business management can be very complex. Making the progress of the works in the predetermined direction sometimes causes mistakes. There are some deficiencies in terms of filtering. If people filtering is done while in the active sprint tab, you cannot click on the story.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made business management more effortless. It solved our authorization issue by creating teams. With the reports, we can observe the progress of the works in the sprint.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A complex application compared to its competitors. However, it differs from others with some features.
Adding Task, comments through Jira.
What do you like best about the product?
Through this, we can tag a particular person and search the history of the task attached to this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find anything which made me dislike this tool.

We can search tasks to when and whom it was assigned, and also Quality Team also writes their test cases through this tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have suggested that my friends use this tool as it is easy to use.
Best collaboration tool and project management
What do you like best about the product?
You have so many options on how to use this. You can use it with Confluence where you document and collaborate.
You can use it in an agile way to communicate efficiently your requirements to the dev and IT team, inform on bugs, request new features.

What do you dislike about the product?
I found it difficult to understand. You have to be familiar with Agile methodology, at least at the beginner level. After you do the intro, you are good to go! and the best part is that there are many videos out there to explain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management and collaboration with the IT&DEV Team. I could not see any better way to best communicate and exchange requirements. You can connect it to confluence and there are many shortcuts so you can use many features to make work amazing.
