Experience with JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
Task categorization is the most useful feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to rely on JIRA admin even for small modifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task categorization. Bug logging. Setting up dashboards for different functions. Generating a burn down chart.
Best agile based project/software management tool available in the market
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and makes tracking of your software development process easy and agile oriented. You can create an Agile board for your project to track the progress. Integration with bitbucket and confluence makes it even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need a good internet connection to use Jira as the page load can be slower at times. User and role management needs a few improvements as well. More customized dashboard and report creation features can be added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jira to capture all the requirements as user stories, and we assign them to the respective team who needs to work on it. We also use it to create defects and test cases tracking.
Best progress tracking app
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot find anything which I didn't like although everything is very cool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It benefits alot to track the employees status and where they are, we can estimate the timeline and the effort done by all.
Jira - A Short Review
What do you like best about the product?
As a software developer who is very used to the Agile methodology of software development, I find tracking my tickets very easy on Jira
What do you dislike about the product?
In my last place of work, we initially had to burn hours. I felt it was unnecessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Agile methodology. Benefits: tracking status, attaching evidence when you close a story, testers could even attach test cases
A fairly good ticketing tool for service based troubleshooting.
What do you like best about the product?
the prerequisites while creating a ticket are organized and can share maximum details of the problem in the initial raise of the ticket itself which will help the agent to understand and provide the solution with minimum interventions
What do you dislike about the product?
one feature that should be improved is the ticket updation, because sometimes when a ticket is updated we would not get notified at the moment but takes several minutes for an email to trigger which causes loss of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create R&D tickets via JIRA to address the product issues for our developers to improve our product, so the developers work on the JIRA and share the relevant fixes over JIRA
Good product management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and integration of various atlassian products
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont dislike anything as of now from jira
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using jira for end to end product development
Effective issue management product with good UX
What do you like best about the product?
Jira allows my team to track issues and bugs in an organized manner. The comments function is how we keep track of our communication on each, and we set custom filters to keep track of issues. The user experience is quite friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can at times be buggy and lag. At times filtering can be complex for our new users and other team members have to repeat building search filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is using Jira for self-organization in agile. We have realized increased efficiency and autonomy while using Jira - my team members are emboldened to fix issues using the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend teaching your team how to consistently comment on bugs and check filters.
A Project Manager's Lifesaver!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can be as organized a spossible using JIRA and it helps me stay up-to-date on every project I am supporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is a bit clunky in terms of user-friendliness. I don't like how my tickets are automatically put into the backlog for some reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management solutions. Our productivity has gone way up since we began using JIRA.
Director - Program management
What do you like best about the product?
Sprint agile management and defect management
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring it to other other tools like JAMA (maybe complexity involved from JAMA interfacing capability)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understory Agile tracking and defect logging process
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy in usage. I have been using JIRA for the past 10 + years, and they have an improvised lot of functionalities.
Great ticketing system that allows for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to comment and tag other team members and all the file features make this a great tool to solve bugs, issues that arise with customers, and work seamlessly with other departments in the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes hard to find users in Jira and also to find tickets that were worked on recently and then closed. You have to know the title for it to find it properly and at times it will populate the oldest ticket with a title you are searching for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is solving any problems with ticketing for customer or bug issues that go on to keep everyone updated on what is happening. This works well cross functionally with IT and any other teams who need to help solve an problem.
