Is a good workspace for tickets, tasks and software development
What do you like best about the product?
That I can personalize my comments, attach images and how quickly I receive my notifications
What do you dislike about the product?
That I cannot assign comments, only tag them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web development tickets assignment
Great task management but need some UI enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great central place for setting up tasks and tracking the progress by different teams. Easily to find the person who is responsible and time has been spent
What do you dislike about the product?
If one task needs to worked by several different people, there is no way in one single task they can log their time separately, individual tasks have to be created
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a customer support specialist, we use JIRA to assign and track the customer-reported issues that need to be handled by the engineering team. We found it's easy to use JIRA for this purpose
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Should set up a workflow for people to use JIRA so tasks can be more easily managed
Analyst in IT company
What do you like best about the product?
I like best superb usability and wast choice of added reports, nice color palette, and vast integration opportunities to 3-d party tools. Used it for projects milestones tracking, time spent, and report creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess the employer must have some indication. If the employed person also uses external projects related to another employer: the user should grant the right at the time of onboarding for a current employer to see which external projects he participates in, probably GIT integrated to track commits. The problem is if we employ a person for full-time equivalent and he has external hustles at the time, for part-timers, such engagement is acceptable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time tracking tool and project resource planning. It is a cost-neutral product, but it benefits with wide tools eligible for use in one place. Visibility positively impacts the business process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Recommend with no reservations
Best Project Management Tool - Jira
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is straightforward to use; anyone can learn it without any training. It is again the best collaboration tool where multiple project teams can be involved and managed better. Sprint planning and managing project timelines is an outstanding feature that makes managers' and everyone's life easy; its view is also in a structured way. Overall, it's the best tool for managing and tracking work for Agile projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira's website is prolonged, and it often gets stuck in between, which is very annoying during some critical work. Little expensive as well.
Otherwise, it's the best product for managing and tracking things.
Otherwise, it's the best product for managing and tracking things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are into an Agile project where we work to manage and track our release tasks into Jira. With the use of Jira, the team's performance has improved. It allows us to plan and prioritize things which eventually enhances the team's productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the best product for collaboration. Things are managed and tracked very easily with the help of Jira. It allows to organize and capture problems, follow team plans which lead to project delivery on time. I would strongly recommend using Jira, where we have requirements for multiple projects which need to be tracked in an Agile fashion.
JIRA - ITSM
What do you like best about the product?
The scalability Jira offered, The UI is too simple and easy to work with within a few days of operation. JIRA is cloud-based, so it has high resiliency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is very optimizable, the engineer must carefully configure it. It's a needle in a haystack problem for the rest of the team if it's not configured appropriately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issue tracking, assigning task ownership, and incident management. Additionally, Change management is all Jira's essential features. The confluence offered with Jira is a great tool to use as a Knowledge base for all projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tool is best in the market, competing with Snow and other ITSM tools
A bloated workhorse of a tool for designers
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track multiple lanes of work, their statuses, communication amongst stakeholders, and tracking changes
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a highly bloated piece of software with many features and products tacked onto it. Realistically a lot of designers don't need the majority of the functionality and can do with just the backlog and kanban board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing workloads, tracking progress of individual projects. It benefits me with keeping up to date how we are tracking to timelines and if we are blocking any critical paths in the workflow.
Jira is best in class all in one tool
What do you like best about the product?
It really helps in Project managemnet and the agile way of working features. The task management, follow-ups, bug reporting and linking with issues is just great. Kanban view and sprint planning is just awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
In a limited feature edition, the features are really limited. I would like some features available from the full version be available in the limited feature (user with 10)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I am using a limited edition, I would like to have some more features of the full version be made available. Though it has 14 days trail period but that really does not suits me :)
Flexible and Agile platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to search and navigate. The linkage and relationships within layers is excellent. Tracking and management is like a breeze
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps too much information can be overwhelming at times. Also, GUI is too simple and hence sometimes appears to be dull.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on JIRA as a ticket based platform to resolve issues raised by various teams, engagement with stakeholder is easier within the platform
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Brilliant platform for product development
JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
Interface, multiple integration and more with other SaaS products. Tentatively, to leverage JIRA as a customer management tool
What do you dislike about the product?
Need a robust dashboard, too many option services displayed on the homepage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product management tool. Feedback and bugs ticket reporting. Visibility of milestones across teams.

One of the few tools that has been with us for very long time (and will stay longer)
What do you like best about the product?
Everything, we've been using jira in more than 6 years to manage technical teams. I love how easy is to setup a scrum and kanban boards and just get transparency for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The latest features that they've been releasing seem quite weak, I don't see anything that makes me love the tool more. They're fine but seems that they've reached plateau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management of technical problems
