Jira as Best Agile conpanion for Agile
What do you like best about the product?
The tracking and control of ongoing activities
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports could be improved, and sone difficult to configure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning of the activities, tracking of the progress, backlogging of the new features and bugs.
Very useful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can organize my team's tasks so they can all understand and move around accordingly to their work progress. I can create as many tasks type I want, and this helped us a lot to visualize what needs to be done first.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have the most amicable relationship with the reports. I think they're tough to understand and not always helpful. I also have difficulty with re-estimating points for an issue. Sometimes an issue has been worked on but not finished, and I need to "complete" just a few points and leave the rest to the next sprint. To do that, I clone every issue and then mark it as "done" with the points we have done on that sprint. And then re-estimate the other one to keep it to the next sprint. I don't know if I'm being dumb and not seeing an easier way to do that, but if I'm not seeing it, maybe it's not that user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is very self-sufficient and can work without asking me what the priority is and what needs to be done first because we can visualize all the tasks and their values and their types.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a handy tool to organize the work. It also has a kanban board so you can visualize the progress of each sprint (or whatever you work with).
Configurable, costumizable and integration with almost every other required software
What do you like best about the product?
Sprint boards and reports for past sprints.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit complex for beginners. Lot of screens to start with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordination with team in all tasks and visibility of all the projects at one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Configure it once and start using
Great and useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
that you can organize and set the project goals in sprints also have tasks in backlog for the future sprints and the project will run smoothly if everything is well set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I don't think there is something I dislike. Maybe I will add more features to the tool, but I think it does a great job at the moment. Well done!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the app I work for issues, we create all problems and improvement suggestions on Jira, and we select from the most important to the less for each sprint. We have bugs, suggestions, testing, and everything related with the app on Jira.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I super recommend the app if you want to have everything organized for the project and to meet the goals on time; as I said before, its an excellent app. Also, you can integrate it with other apps like Slack, so every time an issue or user story is created on the account I work for, I receive a message. Moreover, if there are any changes on an issue I created, I will receive those details on Slack and by email. Try it and you won't regret it!
Very much decent management tool. Like it many ways.
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like most about this software is its tracking system
What do you dislike about the product?
Free versions are okay, but premium version pricing could be reduced some amount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my business. I have to manage various projects. So I use this as a project management tool.
Versatile and powerful when done right
What do you like best about the product?
I like how configurable JIRA is and how it starts delivering value very soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, JIRA relies heavily on folks to understand the business and configure it accordingly. If that step goes wrong, all value is lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA helps track tickets/tasks, measure throughput, plan for the week/month.
Best Tool for Agile Projects Monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
Customize all the phases in the process of work completion. Easy to add new member, assign tasks, track the tickets, check the progress with the help of sprint report.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need some collaboration with the developer tools,More efforts are required to setup at initial stage. It felt that it was only designed for the software development but actually we should use it for multiple industries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We introduced JIRA to track our development work as well as production issues and bugs. We do planning for sprint with specific number of tickets and try to complete it before sprint end. Also issues and bugs were assigned to the dev ops guys at any time. So it will help the managers to track the status.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best tool for agile development with ease of efforts tracking
Jira details
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of usage, managing tasks are easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading too many stories at the same time is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing scrum board
User Story Management on JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
Linking tickets and Epics across Projects is very easy. I also like the fact that it supports rich text editing and the ability to tag people within the text, in comments and as an assignee.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be selective about my notifications, but I still get email notifications every time someone has modified the ticket. I wish I could filter out the clutter it creates in my mailbox. Also, I'm not too fond of search. I am sometimes not able to find some old issues which have been closed. I am not a fan of advanced search since I am always scared of writing queries. I would rather have a much detailed list of filters to find the right tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Product Manager. I primarily use it for writing user stories. I also use it to categorize my work into epics, stories, tasks, bugs, etc., but as a team, we also use it for effort estimation; we actively use the burn-down charts and assign functions to cross-team members.
The platform is very intuitive. It enables a high engagement of the team.
What do you like best about the product?
Dragging and dropping tasks from the board and having all the resources inside the card speeds up the work
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to open a window with an isolated card, such as an e-mail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The dispersion of the team and the knowledge regarding the tasks each employee is working on.
