Most Powerful Tool for Task Management

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is our best task management tool! It has lot of useful feature but timeline is best for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price policy is not good but we can't find any other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is best for task management. We can organize all task on jira. Different team working different boards and we collect all product task in one.

What do you like best about the product?
1) The Tool have interactive dashboards which is better than legacy software like bugzilla etc
2) Training on how to use is easier
3) Getting client appreciation via the 5-star review easily is the best part which helped me get a promotion in my organization.
4) The whole different customization for Product team, customer success team, project management team etc is best.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) It really doesn't have strong dislikes factors but rather small bugs which are irritating and they haven't fixed them since long time.
2) The pricing is what I dislike, seems costly.
3) Nowadays as soon as the customer comments the mail on outlook comes lately.
4) If you copy tables,images from excel and anywhere else and paste it directly in the comment box, it get disoriented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) I am wearing multiple hats like Business analyst, Customer success team, and support team. The tool has helped to jolt down the requirements, comments, reviews of clients easily and that is what makes it best. The Interactive UI is the best part which i like.

"Use to create an incident"

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA we will use to create an incident for any bug fix, any enhancement or any work that we need to assign some other team. JIRA is a tool to maintain a record of incidents. Created by Client or Created by our team. with JIRA, you can identically find the issue that they raised. JIRA have description that describe JIRA is about. Type of JIRA like it is Incident, bug fix,enhancement , alert etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you select a type of JIRA then you can't able to edit it. You need to create a new one. Other than this i don't feel any dislike in JIRA
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintain the records of issue, Raise query, whenever need to solution from someone else

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create and follow up new tickets for customer complaints
What do you dislike about the product?
In general I prefer standalone apps instead of web applications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For each ticket opened by customers several additional questions can be easily added with attachments . The complete life cycle of a complaint can be nice followed
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good service to start with , the time to be spent on its customization pays back

Efficient way to manage projects

What do you like best about the product?
Jira can summarise tasks and sprints in terms of graphs. It's easy to use and is highly customisable based and it has efficient bug tracking and it can be integrated with apps like slack
What do you dislike about the product?
Users with restricted access can't do certain stuff like delete a story, flag a story as duplicate, problem is user isn't informed why he can't do those and is left puzzled
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use jira daily to assign tasks to myself and other team mates, to report bug and track their status. I also see team's performance at the end of sprint using its reports

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is popular and widely used because it's super intuitive and easy to learn. It is really easy to manage your kanbans and scrum boards, then link them to git, confluence slack etc to smoothly operate your task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The under the hood postgresql database is a pain to manage. We often run patches and maintenance that could have been managed in a smarter way by a global software like Jira
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, team collaboration, documentation along with it's own subsidiary confluence. Team efficiency, velocity evaluation and many more. We also use jira for crisis management at times

What do you like best about the product?
Jira has a lot of features for tracking tickets, and is helpful for tracking progress against tickets if your goal is to track the throughput of an organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue with Jira is that it is quite hard to use. Lots of functionality requires multiple button clicks. As a result, it's difficult to use for prioritizing one's own work. I prefer Asana, which is more centered around priority of tasks rather than just throughput of bug tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tasks include bug tracking and tracking execution on projects. While I use it on both, it's better for straightforward use cases like a bug tracker or waterfall.

A bit confusing for starters like me, but once get going you will realise the true nature of Jira.

Best Project Management tool I have ever used.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Jira for the last three years, and I love this product. It's very easily manageable for any agile projects. It really helps to create kanboard dashboards and create task, subtask and can allocate users on a task very effectively. You can also use JQL(JIRA query language) to write custom queries to fetch certain results. You can also create dashboard for tracking purpose. It has so much functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. They are doing well about the integrations and functionality they brought into the software quickly. For a project manager, it's just heaven.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The project Manager can easily do the project management by creating kanboard dashboard, then creating various task, assign the resources to that particular task and can track and monitor efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this tool very highly.

Expensive Tool that Gets the Job Done

What do you like best about the product?
It has excellent integrations with many other tools that engineers typically use. It also covers many of our required use cases for workflow, story creations, and integrations. Lastly, it has fancy reports to gain insights into the team's performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA claims to be the tool for agile when in reality, it can be anti-agile. We often find that we need to change our style of work to fit the tool, rather than the other way around. It also, most of the time, requires some complex configuration to get the total value out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool to track our work, as we were working within the Scrum and Kanban framework. Issues are not much more transparent and visible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an expensive tool. Unless you're a big company with tonnes of cash, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Works best when paired with Confluence.
