Jira is very helpful
What do you like best about the product?
We get support from Developers accurately and efficiently
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much of a dislike. This platform helps a lot in communicating with Engineers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We resolve clients by communicating their issues with our Developers
Powerful ticket tracking and product management system that's easy to use - beautiful UI a plus!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira belongs to a suit of product management and collaboration tools that are all seamlessly integrated (i.e. Confluence). It's an easy-to-use ticketing tool. Each ticket has lots of metadata and fields that make it a very robust ticketing and tracking tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to find things, and the advanced search has a bit of a learning curve to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a powerful tracking tool that enables our cross-functional teams to organize, track, and visualize our work and backlog. It also provides our stakeholders and clients visibility into the team's progress and work pipeline.
Jira is too complex
What do you like best about the product?
I know I can find everything product development is working on or planes to work. So for me, it is the best place to go when I need to find details
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a complex system when you manage multiple teams, and I don't know how to add Epic in the existing board because we use workflows and items disappear post submission
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is used to organize the work for all teams in development, UX, and test automation. It is also used throughout the deployment pipeline. It is an enterprise-grade product and provides great benefits when the experts practitioner is driving it
Great way to manage tech tickets!
What do you like best about the product?
The accountability is great as we can see what has and has not been done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that it's so difficult to follow-up on tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT support uses this and is a gamechanger.
Jira Project and Issue Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is the perfect platform for project tracking and issue tracking. I am an automation developer so whenever I have to open bug tickets for developers, I use Jira to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform gets updated without prior notice. This causes delays at work as we don't have access to track our issues. It would be beneficial with prior emails are sent out by JIRA about future downtimes so we can stay organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems such as tracking bug tickets for quality assurance of the company's risk management software. We have realized multiple benefits where we are able to work with developers and fix bugs at a much faster rate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is the best tool out there if you are looking to track bugs and for project management
Great for teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to view simultaneous roadmaps, link issues, and assign stakeholders
What do you dislike about the product?
Interconnection between different JIRA boards can be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for managing quarterly priorities and progress as well as creating accountability
A lifesaver and absolutely required for sound project planning, management, and execution
What do you like best about the product?
Jira's interface is straightforward, close enough for totally non-techies to standard "office suite" tools like Microsoft and Google, but sophisticated enough for a real developer (or manager of a team of developers) to use as a power tool, Jira has bridged the gap between light and power users to provide one integrative tool for much of the professional marketplace. You can treat it purely as a "track board" for your project and works-in-progress (WIPS), or you could can integrate it fully with your development process, link it to your git, and provide demo output / videos directly within Jira's interface. Further, Jira can hook in with other productivity tools like Slack to provide autotmatic notification and flags. Excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it can be a little hard to understand the scoping-functionalities. If you joined Jira through another person's invite/project, that person might end up being "admin" to your account, even if you create other boards, and that could be an issue. Other than, that there's not much, understanding the logic of Kanban and Agile can be challenging for a complete novice, but there are many excellent books on both for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, accountability, communication, and a supplement to my technical repos that can help provide understanding of my current work flows
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use allied tools like Confluence and Slack when implementing Jira. The suite of other tools are fully inter-operable and makes it a lot easier for an individual to accomplish a lot
The "do everything" collaborative platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like how we are able to share on the work load across teams and companies on our various tickets. I'm in a number of boards and have my hand in a number of projects at the same time, so it's easy to switch between them to work on various things. I like the ease of uploading content on the fly. I also like the integration with Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see Seach be even more robust. Like, if I type part of a word (or number, etc.), it should be able to pull up relevant results. I also would like to see updates arrive to me sooner, seems a bit delayed. Sometimes, having to reset my password after a period is an awkward experience, and causes unnecessary delays for me to do my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit is to be able to collaborate with internal and external people. We work with a number of internal teams as well as multiple vendors, often all in the same boards/projects. So, to be able to get input across all areas has been a great and important benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a fully robust project management platform, JIRA (by Atlassian) can cover all the bases of what you want. From tracking issues, working on small-to-large scale projects in an Agile environment, can be used to collaborate with internal and external users and organizations, this is the tool for you.

complete project information on a single place,

I think some parts of Jira, are a bit confusing mainly the timestamp where developers can add the development time, it should be more easy to use for a new user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple projects together on a single platform, assigning tasks to multiple developers, creating tickets from end-users and assigning those to developers.
