JIRA Task management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The way it provides description to the way it provides API integration to all other platforms is the best thing I like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes tickets do not get refreshed that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving Task management problem we have been assigned a lot of tasks while planning and a lot of people will be involved so I can not go one to one I just mention their name they will get to know that this task is being assigned to me they will provide timelines so it is the best thing that I realized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integration to GitHub or GitLab will be useful for releases to ticket or bug ticket management.

- Too many Jira notifications flood e-mail inbox.
- Creating new Jira tickets for new projects can get tedious.
- Collaboration issues occur when team members don't use Jira consistently for messages, updates, etc.

- I have helped create specific Jira workflows for my team to follow so the production for projects is more streamlined.

It's a great platform to use, but it's most beneficial when other people you're collaborating with are using it consistently as well.

What do you like best about the product?
The epics, the stories and which seamlessly join to the tasks and allocation of work and tracking of the work in an agile manner , makes the life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some code Integrations like Github makes the work complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing the team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers in the work allocation and tracking of tasks, assigning sprint deadlines.

Its the best way to track the work in an agile way and maintaining the Boards and easily visible progress.

being able to drag your tasks to "in progress" and " done" and putting it easily back to "to-do" makes you comfortable with all the tasks you need to accomplish

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Missing a chat feature as well, so teams can stay in JIRA itself to close the entire communication
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just wanted to thank Atlassian for building this amazing product - JIRA . It has become part and parcel of my life . I cannot start my day without viewing the JIRA board, it became an habit . I was thinking the power of an habit, kind of an addiction :D , Whichever new projects I take up / whichever new firms I join, I make them all switch to JIRA , without my knowledge , I have became a JIRA champion. Also good to know that, my team members who has joined other teams/ firms, also evangelize about JIRA and make the team switch to JIRA. There is some magic in this product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try Using JIRA with 10 users free account, evaluate handson with the experieince, sit with team understand their feedbacks, then decide. Becasue I believe JIRA hands on experience is the most powerfull recommendation factor, than my recommedation in G2

What do you like best about the product?
It gives very detailed reports of workdone and work in progress which makes it very easy for me to draft my weekly reports.
Its mobile version is very simplified which makes it less complicated and easy to use.

It lacks an interaction feature that allows for team members to communicate and deleberate on project issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira as our go-to project management tool has eliminated the time-consuming process of planning by allowing us to use pre-set templates to kick start every plan we may have of any project and it also allows us to alter these templates to suit any project we have.

This a very handy product that makes users work fast and quicker hence it saves time I recommend it.

Oldest and best project management tools. They are providing a task splitter, so if there is a big task, we can distribute it into multiple smaller tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design is a bit harder, so sometimes it can be difficult to know all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide only the necessary fields first so that any new user can register easily. Also, focus on small business partners so they can make purchases with a small amount. Provide a dark mode.

Best tool for managing projects and also track each team member's progress.

UI is complex for beginners. No pop-up notification features like slack.

Jira - A must have software for every organization
What do you like best about the product?
Jira makes everyday task easy with features like time tracking,issues tracking, stage tracking. I love that you can create your own dashboards which doesnot limits as to what can be performed/displayed on a dashboard.
With analytics like timesheet reports, pie chart reports its also a very helpful way in viewing data.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be prolonged sometimes, and UI is not that great to look forward . A new dashboard creation sometimes limits what the user should work on. The time tracking provides data that is very confusing at times but at the same time provides filters to add on to sort out that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating tasks and subtasks and issue tracking. Our organization uses jira as an all out software for assigning work to keeping progress of every task which keeps easy to keep tracks in meeting deadlines

A must have software if you deal with extensive amounts of data and issues that needs tracking.
