Great ticket management system
What do you like best about the product?
How user-friendly it is without sacrificing robust features
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI seems fairly outdated, but I've definitely seen and used worse
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this for both keeping track of our digital comms tickets that we receive and the tickets we need to submit to our IT developers.
Excellent Project / Work mangement tool
What do you like best about the product?
In Jira, all the Boards like Scrum board, Kanban and Agile boards are very useful in Project mangements and it also have great look and feel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of Jira is a little higher while comparing it with some other Project management tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning the work activities for the team and assigning the daily tasks is very useful, and it saves a lot of time and helps the team to work collaboratively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to manage your projects in Agile methodology, it is a great tool; you can blindly go for it. It has so many great features like Tracking the issues, Creating the requirements, Project cost estimations, Team track.

Management of tickets and the entire project handling very smothly.

This software is very perfect. There is nothing to dislike.

One of my stories is created which is work with uppy is I am solving. It helps me to track my time with my work.
Project Management for Developers, but not Marketers
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is a great tool to help with the Project Management of Developers, however going beyond the niche of Developers makes it a bit more clunky.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's a specialist tool for Development only and is limited in that functionality. Also by adding so many functionalities, it feels a bit bloated and has a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing development projects. Keeping Developers on task.

I love how flexible the software is. Kanbsn boards are easy to spin up, filters easy to make. Plugins galore as well.

The support can be hit or miss at times. Migrating from on prem to cloud was insanely difficult.

Versatile Issue and Project Tracking Software
What do you like best about the product?
Jira provides a whle suite of benefits. We use it for tracking issues/bugs in software projects. Ina ddition, we also use it to rack tasking in hardware development. We can also add dates and duration for project management activities including Gantt charting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can have a steep learning curve, especially for some of the more advanced features. In addition, there are some bugs. One especially annoying bug is on certain pages the intro walkthrough appears every single time you access the page, not just the first time. There is no option to disable for future visits. This slows down productivity when accessing these ages. Finally, permissions can be problematic, especially when switching between business project and software projects making certain tasks difficult or impossible with admin support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving include software issue or bug tracking, project task tracking, and project management activities including Gantt charting. Benefits include being able to track all projects individually but also all in one system with access to all. This allows us to track tasking of employees across several different projects and how spreading labor will affect timelines of different projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a great software that helps me organize my working day. It's useful for me. I can access from various devices. That simplifies my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
When i enter from my android phone, it has some problems, it has bugs and freezes. while desktop site works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is like reminder for me. i don't need to think about future plans (in daily field), and just simply check it in Jira.
JIRA Makes Agile Work
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is a configurable tool for managing your agile projects. The workflow management system within in JIRA is a very powerful way to get control of where your tasks are and where the bottleneck is. The cloud based solution makes getting started easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
While configuration is one of JIRA strong points, understanding how to configure it can be complicated. They have made improvements to the UI in order to make configuration easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JIRA for managing software projects. I have just started using JIRA to track part shortages and triage tasks.
