Most flexible, easy to use tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using the tool for more than 3 years now. The tool is flexible, the easy user interface is easy to assign work to the team, ability to work on tickets with and without SLAs, gives a clear timeline of the projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The management of the tool is a bit tricky.
The method is old-school agile.

UX is lacking
What do you like best about the product?
The detailed audit trails and task tracking are really useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often requires a lot of steps/clicks to do some fairly simple things. It's frustrating that there isn't a better/easier UX to accomplish certain repetitive tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We schedule all our technical development and production team work assignments in Jira. It's useful for task tracking, but definitely requires dedicated project management resources to keep up with it.

Don't hesitate, different platforms are not worth it.
Best project management/planning tool
What do you like best about the product?
The way jira has been designed to capture all tiny details about any project or task. We can have road map of the task. Current status of the task. We can have defect details. Everything is really in very organized form.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think anything that's not ok for me. Everything is good & works best for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever any new project is under development stage. We use to track that project into jira. Right from define stage to final execution and review stages. In this period of time jira helps us to record various key things. It shows live status & future plans of the project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend jira to those who are working on project management roles. Also it can be used in software companies to track the details of tickets assigned to specific engineers.
JIRA is great for tracking tacks and bigger picture visions of the future.

Sometimes the table of context is a little bit confusing.

What do you like best about the product?
My IT support provider uses Jira and I like how quickly they understand the level of urgency of my requests. All inputs (text, image, etc) are well recorded so they cannot really hide anything from me.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a user, I am not able to add my colleagues as quickly as I like. Namely, I am dealing with my IT provider, one of my colleagues asks me to handle an IT issue for him and I cannot add them to the conversations, as easily as I would like to.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Jira software for the last one and a half years. For me, this is the best agile tool to plan, manage, and track your software project development.

What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't dislike any feature in Jira. Instead, the only concern of me is that, If there is a mobile interface of Jira to quickly seeing diff tickets and progress, then that would be better.

The problems that I have been solving with the help of Jira are,

Can assign tickets to people you know, which is kinda nice

You know sometimes Jira ti kets can get really spammy sometimes.

We are solving the issue of problem management. Benefits-wise, we have accountability.

I like customisable workflows, Advance reporting, customisable dashboard, bugs tracking.

This tool is expensive. File uploading size is limited which is very annoying sometimes.

Thid tool is very helpful for bug tracking and helps in connecting all team in an organization under one roof.
