Great Project Documentation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use tool to create documentation for the Project. Have used extensively to develop Epics and tag use stories tagging relevant people in the organization for review and tracking. Convenient to log issues and analyze sprint velocity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs a certain level of working knowledge to create the workflows for Sprints, user stories and defects. As new user, difficult to understand the workflows and complete tracking and documentation process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in Vodafone, the projects are extremely large, with multiple stakeholders involved. To understand the project progress, timelines, and tracking, JIRA is used extensively to solve this purpose. It helps to also extract Key metrics like Sprint velocity and manage the product backlog. JIRA helps to coordinate better with these stakeholders by easily tagging them on the respective Sprints.
Easy task management
What do you like best about the product?
It is effortless to assign a particular task or change request to a team and prioritize a job. Also, tracking many issues becomes easy and systematic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app takes some time to get used to, and there is a restriction on file size upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One can easily organize the tickets and generate various reports, thus estimating a tentative completion date. Along with integration to some third-party software, the process becomes swift and agile.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Can surely go ahead with Jira for any organization that has to go through a lot of change requests, tracking of issues/ changes.
Highly Recommend for Agility & Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The bug tracking capabilities and the tool itself make it easy for agile software teams. The tool does encourage and support team collaboration, improvement in response times and ticket handling, decreased time to market of new projects/new featuresagile methodology adoption. The tech helps us cut down on duplicitious work through auto-updating on open items and tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding process was rather lengthy and deep - there is a learning curve, but once you work through the training, it's all down hill. Also, I think their pricing model is somewhat prohibitive since it based on the number of users/licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to improve the flow of comms to resolve issues in a more manageable and effective way. Keeping real-time updates and delegation of tasks has been challenging our internal SLAs, and we are moved to Jira to improve on those variables.
Great platform for product managements and developers
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see where tickets are on swimlanes, helps with weekly scrum ceremonies and provides all the visibility to anyone in the org to see the current progress of items. We use it everyday to make sure we are constantly iterating and getting features delivered into the hands of consumers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira query language (JQL) can take a while to get used to if you are not technical but once you get the hang of it the search functionality is a powerful tool to find previous tickets completed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for managing and refining the backlog to ensure that we know what is being prioritized for the sprints.
Jira for creating and escalating tickets
What do you like best about the product?
It is the primary ticketing software used at my company. It is very easy to escalate tickets to departments, you can assign a ticket to a specific person, and you can add labels which make it easy to sort and search on tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is currently nothing that I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is making it easier to complete tasks. A task is created at the beginning of the job, and it can travel through various departments until it is complete and active.
JIRA, one of the best Bug Tracking and Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
JIRAs is full of rich features(Bug tracking, product management, test plan creation, report generation, dashboard &etc.), yet it is so simple to use. Anyone can learn it within few sessions and start using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent JIRA updates cause downtime. Also, the mobile version(app) of JIRA should add more features to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I am a part of the QA team, JIRA is like my sidekick. It is where I report all the issues/bugs related to our product, I manage the entire bug lifecycle in JIRA. Even our product team uses JIRA to manage all the sprint stories/features.
Best Task,Issue Management Application
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. You can manage your work with Jira very easily. It provides a lot of features. You can set the task by priority wise also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Jira is the best app for project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team leader creates tickets and allowed to me and also describe the task or story.It is very easy to understand the requirement also after some months. And you can easily find your tasks thread and all other things with the help of this.

I find the formatting of text in Jira to be difficult and buggy to use

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and navigate. We have different types of ticket requests set up to help with organization and prioritization.
What do you dislike about the product?
No immediate dislikes, the tool is very user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I utilize Jira for primarily for IT requests, we also have the ability to create requests for hardware, or on-site needs as well.

Jira is a great user-friendly tool to organize ticket requests within an entity.
