Good Work management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, plus you have all the tools you need in one single place and at the same time you can integrate many vendors with it like google, ms teams, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Something i disliked is that you need to go to another page inside the same jira to use documents, in that case it also integrates with the Jira work management but anyways its outside the interface, also you have to put before use the permissions to anyone that is going in the same workflow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow Management
Organizational tasks
schedule & calendar
One of the benefits is the board scheme, where you can see whats done, in progress, to do list, and you can customize that

All in One
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps me see what tasks I have to complete in a week/month. It keeps me organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to have pop up reminders for tasks that are coming up!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, using confluence for collaboration and task management.
An industry standard that folks have now started adding to their skill set/resume.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use- JIRA is very intuitive and easy to adapt. I have used it in 3 of my organizations and hardly came across anyone who would have taken more than a week to get accustomed to the tool.
Support for agile methodologies- Agile is at the heart of JIRA and truly reflects while using the tool. One can create both Scrum and Kanban set up as per the need of your team or organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA is sometimes not the only tool that comes in for your rescue as a product manager. You will have to maintain a documenting tool for putting down your ideas. Also, to expand those ideas, JIRA might not be the ideal place.
Issue searching is not up to the mark and may need some improvements. Issue search by id works like a charm, but keyword-based search lacks efficiency.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management is the primary use case and problem which are able to solve. Given remote working and multiple small teams (pod) culture, it is almost impossible to manage without a tool like JIRA.
Answers full SDLC Needs even without the modern buzz and look
What do you like best about the product?
REST API to access data from JIRA to Excel
What do you dislike about the product?
UI interface is a bit aged.
Eazy BI to complex (for me).
Missing convenient way too load entities in bulk.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage the whole SDLC cycle
One of the best
What do you like best about the product?
Updating an existing task is so easy. Everything is explained also - the time passed, the reasons, the tagging system.
Also opening a task - relatively easy. The system itself looks like alot to take in but its very simple to learn.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more usefull stuff is hard to find and intuitive - like history. Every time I want to see what changes were made it takes a while to find what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy tagging of team members on tasks, sprints managment and one of the newer things (for us at least) - the git integration to the system! Its so good! Thank you! Finally an easy tool for git diff and code review.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not hesitate - start using jira!
Looking for a cheaper alternative
What do you like best about the product?
project management and agile tools, and bug tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
The price increase of moving from on-premise to the cloud might be a problem, so my recommendation would depend on how large your subscription (number of users) would be. Smaller companies make sense, but larger organizations in higher education might not be the best fit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira provides an easy and intuitive way to manage continuous improvement and agile projects. My first experience with JIRA many years ago, as a project manager, was with our QA team using JIRA as a bug tracker, but over the years, it's become so much more.
successful business tracking application
What do you like best about the product?
job assignments and management are really successful. Authorizations and roles can be edited in jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Errors are not displayed with logical arrow text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for assignment and tracking of business processes. So, I can apply Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can manage your business units and records very easily.
Jira software for agile development
What do you like best about the product?
Keeps track of all our requirements and has integrated features with bitbucket and slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to group work to report to executives at a higher level. We use the JIRA portfolio, but it still has some issues with providing the big picture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA facilitates our work in an agile manner. We develop our software to support sales of our insurance products.
Excellent tool
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is an extremely resourceful tool from project management to tracking trends.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira customization is very manual. I'd love to see jira create automated solutions for jira infrastructure creation. Eg screen scheme, issue screen scheme, etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use jira in a variety of situations. It's great for issue tracking, building requirements, and identifying trends. It provides real time solutions in visual charts.
Tremendously tweakable
What do you like best about the product?
Its dynamic and flexible. Generally, anything wish or want our team has come across as far as features or functionality, we've been able to configure Jira to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. It has tons of integration and hooks available. It could use more functionality as far as assigning "pairs" of developers to stories but even then we have found ways to tweak and configure things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking, reporting of work done and completed.
