It can lag and be slow when you are tabbing through data entry.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct provides more clarity to see if there are outstanding payments. Also, the colors are something I enjoy about the software.

I found the initial setup of Sage Intacct to be hard.

Sage Intacct provides more clarity to see if there are outstanding payments in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Easy Switch from QB Desktop to Sage Intacct, with Audit-Friendly Invoice Attachments

What do you like best about the product?
It was fairly easy to switch over from QB Desktop to Sage Intacct. Yes, training takes time out of your workday, but you need it so you can operate confidently from day one. Now that I’ve been using it for over a year, I really love it. I’d still like a tweak or two to better accommodate a few areas of how we use it, but overall it’s great.

I also love being able to attach invoices to AP entries. It’s great for audit purposes because you don’t have to hunt down requested documents later. I work in Intacct every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn’t a complaint, just a suggestion to consider for future quarterly updates. When we added a new vendor—especially subcontractors—I had my team upload the signed agreement and any other relevant paperwork (excluding the W-9) directly to page 1 of the vendor setup page using the "Post, File, Link" option at the bottom. It would be helpful to have a dedicated place for these documents, similar to how the W-9 has its own spot on page 2 of the vendor profile setup page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a relief to finally have all our documentation in one place—from customer agreements to vendor agreements. Being able to answer questions with those documents right at my fingertips, instead of digging through a file drawer, makes a real difference.

Easy to Learn, Even Without Accounting Experience

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to learn for someone that doesn't not have much of an experience with an accounting system.

There should be more editing options when it comes to fixing posting invoices.

Highly Customizable, Boosts Efficiency

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable Sage Intacct is, especially the financial reports. It makes it easy for me to customize a report when my management team wants to see specific metrics from the P&L. Sage Intacct also makes my job more efficient by allowing me to upload journal entries from Excel, and the initial setup was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the UI could be modernized. You can't see the entire general ledger account when editing a journal. I can't see what is in the box unless I leave and go to view or go deep into the cell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct to make my job more efficient, allowing me to upload journal entries from Excel, and customize financial reports to show specific metrics for my management team.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage is very user friendly and if you have any questions the team at Sage Intacct are wonderful to work with and very quick on responding to any issue that we may have here at CFSWMA since we use Sage Intacct everyday for our work.

Not sure how to look up like a customer ledger on an customer after entering checks to show the list of checks and the amount they have sent in a range of dates

What do you like best about the product?
Sage is intuitive to use, and the knowledge center is very helpful. Compared to other accounting software, the UI experience is top-notch.

Posting imported bank transactions is slow.

Consolidating our company financials has streamlined the month-end closing process and reduced the overall effort involved.

Streamlined Entries with Intuitive Interface

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Sage Intacct for our daily recording because it makes making entries very easy. The module quick access is something I really appreciate. Also, the interface is very nice. I also like that I can quickly go from one company to another company, which is quite helpful. Overall, I think everything is all good and nice.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to go completely paperless. All audit requirements are met with the ability to drag & drop backing documents.
The work flow is very intuitive

Lots of options means it take a while to set up to match your company procedures.

Game-Changing Multi-Tab Workflow and Powerful CSV Uploads

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to keep multiple tabs open for different entities within the same login is a game changer. I also really appreciate how quickly I can move between modules. The custom reports are extremely helpful once you know how to use them. The CSV uploads for checking accounts, 1099 transaction updates, adding bills, adding invoices, adding GLs, adding vendors, and adding customers are amazing and make those updates much easier to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t a proper report that clearly shows which bills, or which parts of bills, are included in the 1099 filing. It seems to rely only on vendor payments, so we had to do a lot of back-and-forth to figure it out. Also, when bills or invoices are entered at the top level, different views and reports don’t show which entity they were entered under when you run a report or when you’re viewing the bill/invoice page at the top level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our contact at Sage said they’re fixing the issue where, at the top level, you can’t see which Entity a bill or invoice was uploaded to. They also helped a lot with our inter-entity invoicing using the AI Customer emails. Any email sent to the AI Customer email automatically posts as a bill in the Entity associated with that Customer.
