New System
What do you like best about the product?
The integration and automation features that sage offers are fantastic, a big upgrade from our old system. User interface is clean and crisp, and the help features are great. Very intuitive and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process was a bit rocky for us, just given that we have a more unique line of business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cash management and finding efficiency there is a huge benefit for us. The bank feeds are very helpful. Additionally, the ability to set up customized financial reporting is huge to ensure that the reports are consistent every time and that we are delivering a quality product to the client.

The ability to run reports and click into the items and see what everything is. It is easy to use and has many features.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can only have one report for one entity at one time.

Avoid Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
There are very few user friendly aspects of Intacct, the ability to consolidate multiple financials quickly is something they do well.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. You never know what's not going to work next. Every month Sage has a new issue when trying to produce AIA style billings.
2. They claim there is one standard cost code for all jobs, this is beyond a lie. Every single job in the system has its own set of cost codes that you have to manage. We have around 400 actual cost codes but have to manage over 800,000 thanks to how they have this set up.
3. The GL interface is extremely clunky and slow for user input. They don't allow you to copy the job or the entity down so you have to input on every transaction line. Their default setting doesn't work unless ever line item is going to the same project because every job has it's own set of cost codes.
4. Researching in Intacct is slow and difficult, if you've used Sage 100 in the past this will be a huge down grade
5. The Interactive Custom Reports are a joke. Who designs a report tool that you cannot display what information was pulled in the report? What job is this, what time period, any cost codes excluded? You'll never know once you hit print.
6. Naming conventions are not consistent; there is no consistency between the names used on the Object list and what is used in the Custom reports which makes trying to build out your own reports difficult. Which is a major issue as the system comes with no stock reports.

Like accounts payable, I love the way I can get reports, easy and fast, it makes my work easy as I am a frequent user of Sage.

Reports are easy and a really helpful tool.
Easy to use platform for accounts payable
What do you like best about the product?
I use sage intacct every day as an AP representitive. it allows me to easily see all my invoices and pay via check. I also use sage intacct to reconcile my bank accounts. I can easily review my past actions by running reports in the reports center.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that sage intact would work a little quicker and have a better search system.

Sage intact is helping me do my work in the most efficient way possible with everything on one platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is very organized, and you can easily see what is going on everywhere. It shows everything we are accounting for very clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things you post, you are not able to undo or delete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a place to keep all of our accounting work safe and organized. It helps us keep everything in a system which is neat and organized.
Powerful and User-Friendly Accounting Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct is fairly easy to use but also powerful. I find the reporting tools to offer ease of use with accurate reporting. I also appreciate the features like General Ledger and Bank Reconciliation.

The reporting features aren't as detailed as I'd like. I would also like to be able to customize reports to export.

I find Sage Intacct offers ease of use with reporting and ensures accurate reporting.

Efficient Financial Management, Slow Report Downloads
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct allows everyone who needs it to have access to the same financial information simultaneously. The initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that downloading reports takes a long time to load, and then downloading takes time too. It is extremely difficult this way and I hope to see improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct to store invoices and financial information, and it helps pull reports from a larger entity. Everyone who needs it has access to the same financial info simultaneously.
