Alteryx makes analytics and automation accessible for those that do not have technical skills. It is intuitive to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several bugs that we have to work around that limit our automation capabilities. Governance and admin work is not straight-forward. Gallery or server insights are not readily available with the API code changing. Batch operations are difficult when performing admin work with the server.

Alteryx eliminates manual steps when it comes to reporting.

Low code no code environment. Works well for finance users who do not know code well

Alteryx is primarily used as a data cleanup for us. It is helping manual processes. We plan on exploring Invoice extractor/PDF tools and time series/machine learning models

What do you like best about the product?
The memory capacity and the ability to handle large datasets are the main strengths for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model is difficult to explain to management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps reduce the time I spend on tedious processes.
Alteryx Makes Data Prep and Visualization Easy for Non-Coders
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx makes it easy for business professionals who aren’t coders to manipulate data and then illustrate it clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have an ODBC connector, which means I have to manually export data from other systems into SharePoint. After that, I still need to adjust the naming in the workflows so they can run properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Alteryx to produce the company’s KPIs, and I also use it to take manual tasks off operators’ hands.

ability to take data from various sources, cleanse the data, create formulas etc...to create an output file that can be used in my vizualization tool (Tableau)

Learning curve....may not be as user friendly for non-technical people

some of the updates cause tools to disconnect and there is no clear path to reconnect, it's down load a tool, get IT involoved.
