What do you like best about the product?
The balance between no-code predictive modeling and code-level control is exceptional. Alteryx Machine Learning offers an intuitive AutoML product that guides users through the model-building process intuitively. When I need to explain predictions to business stakeholders, the built-in Explainable AI (XAI) features—specifically Feature Importance, Partial Dependence plots, and Shapley Impact Analysis—build necessary trust and transparency. Furthermore, when standard algorithms aren't enough, the native Python Tool is incredibly valuable. It reads Alteryx data as a pandas dataframe, allowing me to leverage libraries like scikit-learn and NumPy directly within the analytics workflow without switching environments. The platform also effectively utilizes open-source libraries like Featuretools to automate the feature engineering process and EvalML for automated model building.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform's high pricing can limit wider adoption across organizations due to cost concerns. Additionally, Alteryx lacks robust data visualization features. This limitation frequently prompts users to export their outputs and rely on external visualization tools like Tableau. For highly advanced artificial intelligence use cases, the support for deep learning models is not currently available. Lastly, the platform is not always completely user-friendly and can come with a steep learning curve for those configuring complex workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx drastically reduces data processing time by strengthening data preparation, cleaning, and blending tasks. The drag and drop interface ensures seamless integration of both unstructured and structured data into a unified dataset for analysis. This Automation minimizes manual data wrangling efforts, reduces errors, and significantly accelerates the overall time to value when driving business decisions with machine learning.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it for how quickly it let's you blend, clean and analyze data without needing heavy coding. It's visual workflow makes complex data prep much easier to understand, repeat and share. It makes data prep and analysis fast and better visual
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Alteryx is that it can feel expensive and resource heavily, especially for smaller teams or simple tasks. Some workflows can also become hard to manage if they grow too large without good organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx hells me solve data preparation and reporting problems by automating repetitive tasks like cleaning, joining and transforming days from multiple sources. It saves me time compared to manual excel work and reduce the risk of errors in recurring reports. This benefits me by allowing me to focus more on analysis, insights, and business decisions instead of spending hours on data processing.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who is not an IT graduate or a programmer, I find Alteryx very valuable because it does not require advanced programming skills. Its user-friendly, low-code approach makes data analysis and automation much more accessible. In my role, it helps me manage inventory data more efficiently, validate large inventories for audit compliance, and automate recurring reports and dashboards. This reduces manual spreadsheet work, improves accuracy, and allows me to focus on more value-added tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any major dislikes about Alteryx. If I had to identify one area for improvement, it would be the time required to learn some of its advanced features. As a non-programmer, I needed time to become familiar with the platform, but the benefits and automation capabilities made the learning effort worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is helping solve the challenge of manually processing and validating large amounts of inventory data. Before, tasks such as data preparation, validation, and report generation required significant manual effort and were prone to human error. Alteryx automates these processes, making them faster, more accurate, and more consistent.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is how easy it makes blending data from multiple sources and automating heavy spreadsheet workflows without needing complex coding. Building visual data pipelines saves a ton of time on repetitive reporting and data prep.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing costs can be quite high, making it a bit tough to justify for smaller teams or casual users. Also, processing very large datasets locally can sometimes slow down your machine significantly if workflows aren't optimized.
