Fast, Easy Data Testing That Outshines SQL
What do you like best about the product?
Fast, easy, understandable. Primarily, data testing is much faster than SQL. It's more comprehensive than SQL testing because I also can see what it filters out, not just what it retrieves.
What do you dislike about the product?
LAG! When I have a more complex workflow, it lags between clicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast adoption for junior analysts, enabling them to handle complex work that’s typically done by highly paid engineers. It also leads to higher-quality testing and better overall output results.
Fun With Data
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive, the company is not static and is generally introducing new tools and features, and it's fun to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Auto Insights requires a level of data prep that can be a struggle sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attrition and predictive analytics.
Incredibly Flexible Data Manipulation—You Can Build Any Process in Alteryx
What do you like best about the product?
the flexibility to manipulate data. you can essentially create any process in Alteryx if you set your mind to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
the lack of support for the current tools, such as Reporting Tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating manual processes.
Efficient, Fast Analysis with At-a-Glance Updates and Great Organization
What do you like best about the product?
It makes analysis more efficient and faster. I like being able to see at a glance what changes I need to make when I need to make updates, and it's such a great program for organization as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was more accessible for personal use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not good at coding so having tools I can drag and drop is so convenient!
Intuitive Large Dataset Manipulation Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manipulate large datasets intuitively.
What do you dislike about the product?
In terms of designer, I would say connection speed (i.e. Sharepoint). I just learned in the keynote that his has been imporoved.

I love the integration with various data sources at the same time and be able to publish to anywhere

Fast Speed to Market with an Easy No-Code/Low-Code Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I love the no-code or low-code GUI interface, which allows for faster speed to market. It also creates a lower barrier to entry, making the platform easier to adopt and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to see all the tools clearly and figure out which one is the best to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to join data across platforms, and then quickly clean it so it’s usable for gaining insights, is what I value most.
Connects to Any Data Source and Makes Data Workflows Easy to Follow
What do you like best about the product?
It does a great job connecting to any data source, and I can clearly see each step of the workflow and how the data evolves before it reaches the target output.
What do you dislike about the product?
Server console is not very flexible with expanding the columns in the gallery to see you workflows names. I use long workflow names and appear cutoff when I try to expand them since I maintain many workflows that begin with similar names
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing datasets for financial trading analytics and observing results as well publishing to Tableau extracts or other tools.
Easy Drag-and-Drop Workflows, But the Python Tool Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
Easy drag and drop to build quick workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
Python tool isn’t that great, and there are a few things that would be done much better through coding instead of using this drag-and-drop approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me integrate different data sources and transform the data based on user needs, including preparing it to feed dashboards.
