Communication with Cisco Webex Calling is effortless.

  • November 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Screen sharing is very useful and the most important feature of the product is that it allows group criticism of slide presentations during the development phase. Additionally, the audio connections are crystal clear and you can easily make call routing and teleconferences. These two features of the product are, in my opinion, far ahead of competing products.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are 2 sides to the product that I don't like. First, if you want more than 25 exhibitors, it's very costly. The other thing is its mobile app. I think this was not developed to show better "usability". Apart from this, the product is in a very important position as the communication sub of our company and meets all our needs. It made a great contribution to us especially during the pandemic period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cisco Webex search for, used to communicate with our office in Turkey. With this tool, we can communicate professionally, meet multiple people, share documents and present topics or anything we need to address at the meeting. We also use it internally to communicate with other regions of the company. Especially during the pandemic period, this product saved our lives. Because it would be really difficult to pay for the phone expenses of many of our employees. However, with Cisco Web Calling, our employees can call each other from any place with internet.

Cisco Webex Calling - Teams and Spark - ease of use for everyone

  • June 26, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its cloud managed, single pane of glass makes it easy to configure, deploy and manage day to day with minimal effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the website loads slowly, but they have an outage/status page if there are functional issues, so you can check for issues/updates there too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote calling with centralized management, cost reduction vs prior on prem or local provided calling platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try out the free one to one video and audio calling client first, and the fact you can install it on a computer and mobile device to try out for free (like using Facetime or other 'cloud calling clients' like Google Chat etc) and then you can add on licensing afterwards to enhance the accounts for use with cloud calling using a DID as well. Lines are cheap, easy to move/repurpose etc too.

Get ready to not have to think about calling anymore!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of this tool. Don't get me wrong, it's easy to setup and use but does require some expertise. But once that setup is done this is the easiest product for users to use! It just works! Something we have loved about this is how well it integrates with other Cisco products and tools you are probably already using! And later this year (2020) Cisco has announced a new "all in one" client that will bring Teams, meetings and calling all together in a single client. I am loving this product!
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a little high but if you are bundling other services from Cisco then you can get some pretty nice discounts. But my main complaint about this product is the overall price. The features are spot on, the ease of use is right where it needs to be and that administration is very doable by anyone with a technical background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of not having a good calling solution and its also solving the problem of having different tools, or a lot of tools that users need to use on a daily basis. And since we have switched to Webex meetings then this brings these into s single platform. The users love getting to have extra tools removed from their desktop.

Too much manual configurations

  • May 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Not sure i can say there is anything i like best at this time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much manual configurations, UCM migrations to WebEx Calling are very messy. Features in Control Hub and CAP are pretty confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Based on COVID, we were trying to migrate a UCM setup to WebEx Calling so users can just pick up their phone and take it home to be up and running liek it they were in their office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare all features like for like, make sure you have enough pro service hours to account for all the manual setup and configurations.

It is a great product with low sound and image lag. My favorite feature is desktop sharing
What do you dislike about the product?
The way of licensing and license price is the only aspect of the product that can be criticized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to this product, we are able to hold meetings with our branches both in Turkey and abroad more easily and with more performance. In addition, thanks to working from the Web environment, we got rid of installing extra software.

Webex Calling is Easy

  • May 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been researching this system for a long time. We are at the demo stage yet. With Webex calling, you can get rid of many troubles. We have troubles such as installing call manager and updating, maintaining and dealing with infrastructure problems every year. Thanks to this cloud service, we only use the system. You don't have any problems like maintenance, security, update. With a stable connection and good planning, you can get quality service at lower costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rarely, sound quality problems may occur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were making huge investments in the local power plant system. There was also a need for a lot of staff. Security, updating and capacity planning should not be forgotten. None of this is needed now

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webex Calling allow every user to be mobile and bring to you your enterprise telephone number everywhere in the world :)

Quick and effective way to have the Calling service

  • May 04, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Definitely the best thing about Webex Calling is to have absolutely all the collaboration solution (applications, video, meetings and calls) in a single fully integrated cloud platform. With the possibility of integration with third parties easily and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all Cisco phones are supported. It would be great to have the option of low-end phones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Webex Calling, no servers are required in the data center, nor their maintenance. The service is available 24 hours a day and upgrades are carried out automatically, zero maintenance by IT.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering an upgrade, change the phone service or are a new company, Webex Calling may be the option to consider. The deployment is very fast, reliable and can integrate the entire collaboration service in a very short time and without the need to invest in servers and large implementation times.

Video Conferencing like Business Skype

  • April 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Familiar with general meetings and audio/video platforms; intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, in fact I believe WebEx is better for large meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not much different from Business Skype yet again I like the idea of knowing integrity won’t be lost with a large participant group.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know how to use the tools within the meeting especially being able to involve other participants (annotations/muting/speaking/sharing).
