The extensive collection of ready-to-use basemaps and data layers in ArcGIS Online is what I like best. They provide a solid foundation for creating visually appealing and informative maps, simplifying the process of geospatial analysis and mapping.

One potential drawback of ArcGIS Online is that certain advanced features and functionalities may require additional licensing or incur extra costs, which can limit access for users with more specific or specialized needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ArcGIS Online solves various problems in geospatial analysis and mapping. It provides a comprehensive platform with extensive tools and functionalities, eliminating the need for multiple software solutions. The platform's intuitive interface and smooth learning curve benefit me by simplifying data analysis, map creation, and collaboration, improving efficiency in my work. Additionally, the integration with other Esri products and the wider ArcGIS ecosystem allows for seamless data transfer and workflow management, reducing duplication of efforts and enhancing productivity. Overall, ArcGIS Online streamlines geospatial processes, saves time, and enables more informed decision-making.

The 3D global scenes rendering as per the internet connection speed

On the fly quality check, client discussion and delivery through publishing. Time saving with organization level groups,user and role setting

Ease of access, any person can navigate through the UI and create their own items.

Since its a SAAS product it has to be always used in the presence of internet.
Esris monopoly on the GIS world makes the products licensing a costly affair. Although its worth the pay which is delivered.

GIS is all about showing your maps to plot data, create dashboards, analyze, use field apps connected to the tech and using AGOL even as a way to manage your organizations personnel

One of the things I like best about ArcGIS Online is its accessibility and ease of use, allowing users to create, share, and collaborate on maps and spatial analyses without the need for complex software installations or extensive technical expertise.

It enables efficient data visualization, simplifies the process of sharing and collaborating on maps and geospatial projects, and provides powerful tools for conducting spatial analysis and making informed decisions.
ArcGIS Online is great for sharing web maps and visualizations across public or organisations
What do you like best about the product?
It is web-based and no installation is needed. A web browser is what you need to edit or browse the web map layers. Users can have the privilege to customise the symbology to their own preference.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations in labeling compared with an ArcGIS Pro platform. The labeling cannot be positioned by using "left of the line" in ArcGIS Online while this function is essential for various industries e.g. transport modelling

Mainly used it for sharing results and web maps as tools to facilitate efficient collaboration
Great tool for next level data sharing.
What do you like best about the product?
It's integration with ArcGIS Pro. Data are easily shareable to a web-hosted feature layer (WFL). The WFL can then be shared with other members in the organization and used for integration with Field Maps and other survey Apps. Or you can use the WFL to create story maps and web applications to share data with non-GIS users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is an online cloud-based service, it's not always as reliable as you'd like. Similarly, troubleshooting is difficult and time-consuming. Especially when trying to create offline map areas for use in Field Maps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use AGOL to create offline map areas for our survey team, who often works in remote areas without service. It's an excellent tool for users to see the landscape of their site. A secondary but equally important use is for sharing progress with our clients. Creating web applications allow non-GIS users to easily view the data and their photo attachments.

Cant upload more than one photo at a time, no batch editing pop up data

Creating 2D Maps and 3D Scenes. Web Applications

Use of Credits in storing huge datasets. Downtime at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data creation, data analysis, visualisation ArcGIS Online does it all and being a Web based platform with an easy to use interface it helps in all my business needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for some basic ArcGIS Online courses first and then get started with it so that you understand the GIS concepts well.

Limited due to credit requirements and requires the use of premium services to map complex data points.

Mapping epidemiological and public health data sets. ArcGIS has been helpful in visualizing the need for more public health resources in a specific area.

It can be used for a variety of subjects and industries. I have used it in education, environmental sciences, political and government, and watershed management.

You must have an account with ESRI to utilize it.

I would recommend it to just about anyone. It is easy to use. The tutorials are wonderful and ESRI has done an excellent job providing suitable support for educators that wish to utilize GIS in their classrooms.
