Transform Telecommunications using Cloud-based Interactive Mapping and Advanced Analytics
Location intelligence is fundamental to effective network management for all telecommunications service providers. Esri's ArcGIS delivers location intelligence that supports comprehensive understanding and better decision-making.
Telecommunications service providers leverage the spatial capabilities of ArcGIS for all aspects of project lifecycles, from market analysis through planning, design, engineering, construction, sales, marketing, and operations. This reduces inefficiencies due to swivel-chair activities, ultimately resulting in shorter network ready-to-sell times, greater revenue, and lower costs.
Telecom providers need to know exactly where service is lacking, both in presence and performance. As a system of record, engagement, and insight, ArcGIS is uniquely suited to help telecommunications companies understand where to expand or improve service as well as bid, plan, design, construct, and operate equitable networks.
ArcGIS Online for Telecom is a complete mapping, visualization, and analysis solution.
It uses maps and advanced analytics to give your business the competitive advantage when it comes to broadband funding projects, reporting on construction status to project stakeholders, and engaging with the local community. With ArcGIS Online, you can get up and running quickly to securely create, organize, and manage geographic information in one system. Use it on its own or expand your work using other Esri products across the ArcGIS system.
ArcGIS Online for Telecom also comes with data. Ready-to-use datasets include demographics, behavioral and business data, environmental live feeds, places and movement data, high-quality imagery, and frequently updated basemaps.
By leveraging ArcGIS Online for Telecom, teams are best prepared to meet today's demands and achieve the organization's next generation network initiatives.

You buy this product under a contract, paying per user based on the access each person needs. Four user types set the access level: Viewer for read-only access, Contributor adds read and write, Mobile Worker adds mobile field access, and Creator adds publishing. You buy the quantity of each user type your team requires, mixing types as needed. Add-on Credits are sold separately in blocks of 1,000 and fund cloud-based services like analysis and storage. You must use these credits within 24 months.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is the difference in access between the four user types?
Each user type builds on the one below it. Viewer gives read-only access to maps and dashboards. Contributor adds review and simple editing. Mobile Worker adds secure field apps for work assignments and location sharing. Creator adds mapping, publishing, and administration of members, content, and work assignments.
What are Add-on Credits used for, and do they replace a user type?
Add-on Credits fund cloud-based services in ArcGIS Online, such as spatial analysis and data storage. They are sold in blocks of 1,000 and are consumed as you use those services. Credits do not grant user access. You still need user type licenses to sign in and work.
How do the user type counts and credits combine on my bill?
You buy a quantity of each user type your team needs, and each user type has its own per-user price. Add-on Credits are billed separately per 1,000-credit block. User type licenses drive access costs, while credits cover consumption of cloud services like analysis and storage.
