Very helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the LinkedIn integration that allows me to see if the contact is still employed with the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the contacts are out of dat with out an email contact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get a snapshot of a company as a whole. In addition the family tree function helps a lot with very large companies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a lot of information provided for a specific company. You are able to see a full snapshot of the company. You are able to search for people by their job level and job function. This helps as I am only looking for C-level employees in the information technology, operations, or finance. I can then narrow down the contacts. InsideView also links with LinedIn so when you view a specific contact you can then go right to their LinkedIn profile. It also provides emails, phone numbers, and sometimes even direct lines to the contact. The CRM we use is not always up to date with contacts, so I use InsideView to check the current contacts.
InsideView and Microsoft Dynamics
What do you like best about the product?
The reduced amount of data entry is a dream. The ability to sync the information provided into Dynamics makes my life a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a great product. Not sure I can but I'd like to push the information I gather to their data to help keep the system up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced amount of time spent entering data. Reduced time doing research because it's right there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend the product. I use it inside of Dynamics CRM and it has been great over the time I've had it. Will continue to use.
Good, but not Great
What do you like best about the product?
the ability to quickly research businesses, understand hierarchy/ownership and search for contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many times, the contact information is outdated. So I have to go to LinkedIn or other sources to verify that contacts are still with an organization, as well as find other significant contacts who aren't in InsideView.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InsideView allows me to get a handle on a target account before I begin my outreach efforts. It allows me to adjust my communications to be more relevant to contacts within an organization.
Great tool for insights into leads, opportunities and customers
What do you like best about the product?
The list of contact at an organization is extremely useful for networking. I also love the ability to follow companies and see their news.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the information isn't current so you do have to validate before taking action.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves a LOT of time researching leads and opportunities and alerts me when my customers are in the news.
Excellent Resource
What do you like best about the product?
I am using InsideView to increase my Dale Carnegie book of business. It allows me to get a list of companies in the New York area that offers educational benefits to their employees. At that point, I can find contact information for the decision makers and grow my sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is more to love about InsideView than to dislike. One suggestion would be to incorporate the ability to fine tune research on decision makers by zip code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InsideView provides me with a choice of decision makers, so that I can look to see who would be the best for our products and services.

It best to first look at InsideView with your own information and check the accuracy. It will give you a good view of the service.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use and integrated directly with my Salesforce.com instance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like a little less "clicks" required to update or add contacts company info in to SFDC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get the latest news on the company an individuals within my SFDC framework. I can easily add new contacts and company demographics.
Essential for finding accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Family tree. Total revenue. Number of employees. Sync with salesforce option. Company vertical (manufacturing, inf and serv, resources , etc). List building based on vertical and market segment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Revenue is not always available. The contacts section not up to par to zoom info contacts search and sync option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use insideview as a source of truth for accounts. We base our verticals and market segment on insideview data. we create our accounts in SF through Insideview. Could not decide if an account fits my vertical or market segment without insideview.

Uploading data directly into CRM - worth its weight in gold
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to directly add account and contact information into CRM. It not only saves time, but is one less oppty for typos and human error.
What do you dislike about the product?
their contact listings can be a little light on numbers and in scope of employees. Accuacy of data has improved DRAMATICALLY in the last 3 years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saved time entering data into the system and reduced chances for error in entry.
Things have always been positive
What do you like best about the product?
The contacts within each account is key to my searches. Being able to hit targets accuratly helps with every target.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe emails for each contact in the search field would be good also. If we can target contacts both via phone and email that would give us a much bigger success rate I am sure. Keeping each target accounted for via email lets us move that into CRM as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get key contacts and I have benefited from this info when reaching out to the customers. Having the names and titles allows me to easily manuver in an account as I prospect.
