Visibility into Client & Prospect Interest
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the weekly report that shows the contacts and companies that have been recently showing interest and activity with my solutions. The format is straightforward and easy to quickly consume during a busy start to the week. It's a fantastic way to prioritize who needs follow-up as you structure your day and week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more actionable/automated follow-up would be helpful. I understand Engagio has a tool called "PlayMaker" that does this - hopefully my org will consider using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramping up in a new and unfamiliar territory has been quicker thanks to Engagio showing me each week who in the territory is viewing what info. I'm now able to be targeted in my approach to identifying and reaching out to clients and prospects in an effort to generate new business. I'm a new user (3 mos) so it's a little early to provide substantive feedback supported by actual numbers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it and integrate it into your business planning.

What do you like best about the product?
I recommend Insideview all the time to all my sales department co-workers, its great tool to find out the latest information about prospect and actual clients, even when I am using the free version, its very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes dont find the info im looking for, but thats very much likely because the searched company is not sharing that info and not insidesview fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What I solve is: Updating my companies CRM, by getting actual and accurate info from prospect and actual clients, so that the marketing team can start working on their campaings and advertisement.

contextualize discussions before making any calls and be prepared. Save time and avoid going to different sources
Reducing the noise by using Watchlists
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility to create custom Watch Lists and monitor current and prospective clients and significant industry events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitation on the number of watch lists that can be created to five. The vertical scroll bar navigation in each of the content areas.

Identifying the right executive contact to engage for the opportunity.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is incredibly easy to use. For each company, they include comprehensive contact information with position and other info. They also include links to articles about the company. For the specific employee, they also often list past employment if available, which can be useful. It's truly the best contact system I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every once in a while, the contact info is old. They provide an easy way to notify them of old info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use InsideView to locate the correct people to contact, as well as to glean deeper info about the company in general. InsideView provides links to articles and other information that proves useful.
The interface is very user friendly, so any novice can find what they need.
