Great Insights into your account or prospective accounts
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I get emails with new account information. The insights from InsideView has helped me keep up with further account information to use for prospecting purposes and to align our value proposition with the latest intel we receive on the account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could receive quarterly and yearly reports from the accounts we follow sent to our email. That way we are notified and are able to keep up with news coming directly from the CEO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to build and grow our pipeline by building a stronger message to prospect accounts. We are coming across more sophisticated and knowledgable to a prospect since we are using their company information on what they are working on instead of being the typical salesperson.
Phenomenal platform and pioneer in the AMB/X space
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Demandbase can identify visitors to a website that has become more vital in the Pandemic world that we live in today. I have a hard time believing things are going to go back to the way they were before COVID which really increases Demandbase's value for the long run.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running multiple ad campaigns can be difficult to stay on top of from an organizational perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my clients that run a 1 to few/1 to1 model really increases the need for a solution like Demandbase. Their potential client ecosystem is so small that we are almost required to leverage an AMB type of approach as opposed to traditional demand generation campaigns that target one to many.

There's not much I dislike about Demandbase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's not necessarily a problem that I am solving. There is the benefit of visibility into what prospects are looking onto your webpage.
Amazing insights tool for your CRM
What do you like best about the product?
The API integration between Insideview's platform and Salesforce is brilliant! Unlike many data providers, the information they have comes with almost an executive summary and company profile which is very insightful compared to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The API does not always function based on license type and is an add-on VS being a native feature of any subscription. That can be a little tedious when it comes to refreshing rates and logging data. It would be a lot better to approach this as a long-term add-on VS such a stringent subscription-based provision. The company is less about providing a solution and more about making revenue and licensing fees. That is just my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Updating our client data and showcasing all the pertinent information is critical for this software. The lack of API integration for primary users who do not have the proper license is disappointing but can easily overlook quality and real-time data. Though I think that this should be a prerequisite for any license anyone purchases. A company's contact information and the details on demographics like revenue, employee size, etc., allow us to have the proper messaging and outreach for the accounts. It has helped us formulate strategies and restructure sales approaches.
Perfect tool for enterprise sales
What do you like best about the product?
I use Demandbase daily. Account activity tracking is better than other tools I’ve worked with. I love the versatility of Demandbase from intent to engagement & the detailed metrics that come about. Integration with salesforce.com works really well. Nice reporting too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login experience could be improved and provide a better CX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously difficult to understand the accounts. With Demandbase we get much better account insights and engagement; account prioritization, efectiveness of campaigns and events
Gain ABM insights and build pipeline
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase provides daily detailed insights across ABM account activity that's both powerful and actionable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor functionality issue... when you want to view a lead in SFDC, the link requires you to log into SFDC every time. Sometimes if my list has 20 leads I'd like to look at, it will make me log in 20 times to SFDC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My sales focus is distributed across ~70 accounts. Demandbase provides great insight into where there is traction and with whom, what messages are resonating, and what accounts have no activity. These insights guide how we shift or adjust our approach. If there's action, let's dig deeper. If there's not, let's add more contacts or different personas or change our messaging.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your organization is focused on ABM marketing and sales efforts, this technology helps immensely so you can measure the effectiveness and performance of your efforts.
DemandbaseOne - Valuable Insights
What do you like best about the product?
In earlier roles, I had used both Engagio and Demandbase to plan and execute ABM programs. I would use Engagio predominantly for reporting and Demandbase for building account lists, website personalization, and targeted ads. I'd use both platforms for account prioritization. What I love best is that I now only have to access one platform for all of my planning, executing, and reporting of ABM programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to change engagement minute configurations for different parts of the organization (e.g., different sales territories, sales vs. customer success engagement scores, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are transitioning to an account-focused organization as a whole, so Demandbase is helping our sales organization acclimate themselves with their new lists/territories and better understand what matters to their accounts. It is also helping our marketers measure the success of their programs with new, account-focused KPIs like engagement.
DemandBase helps fuel our top of funnel activity
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to login anytime and see the current 1st and 3rd party trends associated to the key accounts we're going after. And being able to serve ads to these accounts based on that information is a really great flow for us to go to market with. We're also just starting to use the automated sales team alerts to get our MDR and Sales team more into the account trend data too, so they can prioritize their day with the key insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it isn't easy to keep track of all your ABM lists and Ad campaigns in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the platform in a few ways that really help us. Since we run in a 1 to many ABM approach, it's great to have a tool that can help uncover certain accounts over others that may be showing a higher level of interest in a topic area we want to sell into them. From there we can take approaches to prioritize and send campaigns out to higher interest accounts, and craft messages based on keywords or themes the accounts is showing interest in.
