With around 5 million active online buyers, Foxintelligence is the largest ecommerce measurement and consumer analytics company in Europe. Established in 2016 and acquired by global data analytics firm NielsenIQ in 2021, it helps more than 100 manufacturers and retailers in a range of industries increase sales and market share.
Its software-as-a-service platform helps these clients understand when, where, and how consumers make their purchases, so they can anticipate trends and react faster to shoppers’ needs and expectations. “We’re a data company,” says Régis Amichia, head of data science at Foxintelligence. “We've been using machine learning models in our data pipeline for years. What’s really mattered to us since the beginning is finding the right solution at every phase of development to scale while maintaining cost. And that’s something we’ve found in the AWS platform.”

Cutting Time to Market for Generative AI Innovation

The Foxintelligence team has been quick to adopt new tools to accelerate value from generative AI. It uses Amazon SageMaker to build, train, and deploy its machine learning models and is exploring Amazon Bedrock, which is the easiest way to build and scale generative AI applications with foundation models.
“We’re very excited by Amazon Bedrock, the new AWS generative AI platform,” says Amichia. “It allows us to easily access a lot of models, to easily fine-tune them, or just do some prompt engineering. And then there’s also quick deployment after that. For us, it greatly reduces our time to market.”

Providing the best market intelligence while protecting data privacy has always been the Foxintelligence vision.
