Itaú Unibanco looked to modernize its IT infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to improve customer attraction, retention, and engagement. Specifically, its Cloud for Marketing team wanted to better understand client behavior to offer tailored products and services and enhance the customer experience.

The organization created a data lake and used services including Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Athena and Amazon QuickSight to automate data analysis with machine learning. This has helped increase the speed at which data is captured and processed, allowing the company to adapt to changes in the market and meet customer needs more effectively.
