Amazon SageMaker now supports AWS Key Management Service (KMS) to encrypt data used for Batch Transform. Using AWS KMS, customers have the ability to control the encryption keys to protect the storage volumes used in their Batch Transform jobs.

With this new enhancement, customers can make use of security capabilities like centralized key management, master key rotation, and many more while running inferences. Since AWS KMS is integrated with AWS CloudTrail, the usage of the encryption keys is logged to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

AWS KMS-based Encryption with Amazon SageMaker is now available in all AWS regions, where Amazon SageMaker is available today. For additional information, please visit the documentation here.
