Effective May 17th, pricing for AWS Elemental MediaPackage live channel ingest, and origination and packaging has been reduced across all AWS regions.
You will save around 40-50% on ingest rates. For example, the price per GB for South America (São Paulo) is now $0.064 (reduced from $0.134). Rates of live channel origination and packaging have also been reduced by around 40-60%. This makes the new price per GB in US East (N. Virginia) and Europe (Ireland) $0.05 (reduced from from $0.10 and $0.102 respectively).
