Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics Announces Full Unicode Support
You can now use the full Unicode standard (UTF-8) in your Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics SQL applications. This new feature enables you to build real-time applications using the full breadth of languages and characters supported by the Unicode standard.

Full Unicode support is now supported in all AWS regions where Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics is available.
