AWS Systems Manager Automation now supports additional queuing

Posted on: Sep 5, 2019

Systems Manager Automation now supports queuing of up to 1,000 executions, enabling you to automate operational tasks on a larger scale.

Systems Manager Automation enables you to safely automate common and repetitive IT operations tasks across AWS resources. With queueing support, you can create more automation tasks on a larger number of resources. Using existing Systems Manager Automation safety features, such as defining error thresholds and concurrency rates, you can deploy these tasks in a controlled manner.

Automation is a feature in Systems Manager. Systems Manager enables visibility and control of your cloud and on-premises infrastructure. It simplifies resource and application management, shortens the time to detect and resolve operational problems, and makes it easier to operate and manage your infrastructure securely at scale.

Automation is available in all commercial Regions, China Regions, and AWS GovCloud (US). For more information about Automation, visit the AWS Systems Manager Product page and Documentation.
