Amazon CloudWatch Container Insights enables customers to easily collect container metrics and analyze them along with other metrics in Amazon CloudWatch. Amazon CloudWatch Application Insights provides simple setup of observability for your enterprise applications and underlying AWS Resources. Amazon CloudWatch Application Insights provides automated dashboards that show potential problems with monitored applications, which help you quickly isolate ongoing issues with your applications and infrastructure. The new service integration allows Amazon CloudWatch Container Insights customers to easily enable and visualize problems identified by Amazon CloudWatch Application Insights for Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) Clusters, ECS Services, ECS Tasks, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service Clusters, all in one console.
To get started, open the Amazon CloudWatch Container Insights console. If you are new to Amazon CloudWatch Application Insights, select Auto-configure Application Insights.
