AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN) is now available in four additional AWS Regions: Africa (Cape Town), Europe (Milan), Europe (Paris), and Middle East (Bahrain).

AWS Application Migration Service is the primary service recommended for lift-and-shift migrations to AWS. The service minimizes time-intensive, error-prone manual processes by automatically converting your source servers from physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure to run natively on AWS. You can use the same automated process to migrate a wide range of applications to AWS without making changes to your applications, their architecture, or the migrated servers.

By using AWS Application Migration Service, you can more quickly realize the benefits of the AWS Cloud—and leverage additional AWS services to further modernize your applications.

With this launch, AWS Application Migration Service is now available in 21 AWS Regions: US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Osaka), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Europe (Milan), Europe (Paris), Europe (Stockholm), Middle East (Bahrain), and South America (São Paulo). Access the AWS Regional Services List for the most up-to-date availability information.
