AWS Network Firewall is now authorized as FedRAMP Moderate in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (N. California) and US West (Oregon). You can now use AWS Network Firewall to protect and control access to and from your Amazon Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) in these regions for workloads that require FedRAMP Moderate categorization level.
AWS Network Firewall is a managed firewall service that makes it easy to deploy essential network protections for all your VPCs. The service automatically scales with network traffic volume to provide high-availability protections without the need to set up or maintain the underlying infrastructure. AWS Network Firewall is integrated with AWS Firewall Manager to provide you with central visibility and control of your firewall policies across multiple AWS accounts. To get started with AWS Network Firewall, please see the AWS Network Firewall product page and service documentation.
In addition to receiving FedRAMP authorization, AWS Network Firewall is compliant with PCI DSS, SOC, and the following ISO standards: 9001, 27001, 27017, 27018, 27701. AWS Network Firewall is also a HIPAA eligible service.
