You can now deploy Amazon AppStream 2.0 in the AWS South America (São Paulo) Region. Deploying AppStream 2.0 in your local region provides users with a more responsive experience and helps support your local data residency obligations. With this launch, you can deploy General Purpose, Compute Optimized, Memory Optimized, and Graphics G4DN instances to meet the needs of your users.
AppStream 2.0 is a fully managed non-persistent desktop and application virtualization service that allows you to stream applications and desktops from AWS to users without acquiring, provisioning, and operating hardware or infrastructure. AppStream 2.0 can provide users with secure, instant-on access to the applications they need with a responsive, fluid user experience from anywhere on the device of their choice.
To get started with Amazon AppStream 2.0, sign into the AppStream 2.0 management console and select your Region.
