Amazon Kendra is an intelligent search service powered by machine learning enabling organizations to provide relevant information to customers and employees when they need it. Starting today, AWS customers can use the Amazon Kendra Salesforce Connector to index and search documents from Salesforce.
Critical information can be scattered across multiple data sources in an enterprise, including CRM Systems like Salesforce. Amazon Kendra customers can now use the Kendra Salesforce Connector to index documents and search for information across their Salesforce content using Kendra Intelligent Search. Salesforce contains a number of entities such as Accounts, Campaigns, Cases, Opportunities, Leads, Knowledge Articles and more. The Amazon Kendra Salesforce connector helps to index all these entities and their attachments where applicable. This connector supports full and incremental sync. The connector helps to index documents and their access control information to limit the search results to only those documents the user is allowed to access. For this purpose the connector provides an identity crawler to load the principal information—such as the user and group mappings, automatically into the Principal Store.
